Well, that was a steaming pile of something. Apart from watching Phil Leotardo get his ending, that sucked.

The Phil head crush was classic - outside of that - I was disappointed. I kept thinking my cable went out at the end.
That blank screen deal was quite possibly the dumbest tv trick ever. What a completely lame way to end such a good show.
I will be spending the better part of the morning discussing the ending with my business partner for sure.

After 8 years af watching, I too thought the ending sucked. Guess they wanted to keep a movie possible. The new show- "John from Cinci" - I could not get into that either. Pretty bummed.
That was a pretty horrible ending. It was actualy pretty boring show outside of the car running over his head.

Lost in translation
After readign the reviews, I'm glad I did not bother to stay at my Mom's house and keep the kids up late to watch it. I stopped watching the show 2 seasons ago (about 4 or 5 years by now). I'm glad I left it when I did. I heard that ending was so bad people were starting a class action suit against HBO to get their subscription money back.
