Congratulations, you already are. :cryinlaugh: :neer: :cryinlaugh: :neer: :neer: :rotflmao: :pumpkin: :sm_angel:

You're here and telling us about the cigars you ordered and are smoking this weekend, right? :cheerschug: :sm_angel:

On Sunday when you post about getting a 50 count humidor, we'll be here to help out. Until then, welcome, congratulations and . . .

:neer: :neer: :neer: :birthday: :sm_angel:

Nice slection. Good mild cigars, except the corojo reserve, that will be a little richer. I really like the sol cubano maduro.

Thanks for the welcome, bloof. I promise not to infuse these cigars with my favorite bourbon. If I'm going to do that I'll buy an Opus X :p

Uh oh, another victim, err I mean connoisseur of one of the finer things in life. You might as well get a second mortgage now. Welcome to the club!

have no illusions, it will get expensive, real fast....
thats just how it goes

no regrets is the cigar smokers moto.

its worth the money to be able to relax after a hard day with a fine cigar and a tall glass of makers mark...

Finding the RH (Humidity) level that smokes best for you is the next step. Then finding storing cigars for 2+ weeks will make them smoke better. Then finding after a year or 2 how much better they get.
Then buying boxes and storing them for years, then a large cabinet.
OK OK OK - I'll stop!

My plan is if I like smoking these cigars. I"m going to start shopping for a small humidor. Then buy a bulk pack of the cigar I liked the best.

that is what we all said. now we are addicts 8) but it is a hell of a lot of fun.

 :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

Yeah, this sounds familiar... I started by having one fine cigar to celebrate my 18th birthday in January, now I'm on a first-name basis with my local tobacconist! Once it gets those hooks in you, there is no going back!

i started out the same way. I like the padron 2000 a lot so i bought a box of them and bought a 25 count humidor to store them in.
Now i have 2 desktops and a coolerdor. And my friends at the local shop ask me where i have been if i don't show up for more than 1 day.

Awesome Picture Castle.....is that you? Where was it takes....looks foreign....

Tons of fun....I have to keep myself from smoking stick after stick......

I've actually gone out now twice w/out smoking a cigar....it was hard, but accomplished!

Expensive as it may be , im with everyone in saying its (will be) worth it. Im not sure what im going to have as my first cigar...anybody have suggestions? Tho , im dying to try the Cuban Label , maby i should try something a litte more lighter , just till i "lose my cherry" . I know i definatlly dont want to take on a double corona as my first!!!

Haha, my first cigar was a 1990 Vintage Patel, either a churchill or toro size. That was one hell of cigar, it kicked my ass. I felt like a real pansy after that! Decided to take it a notch down and try a Montecristo, and really didn't like it at all. Got around to trying a Padron 3k Maduro one day, that was probably the one that got me hooked. That thing is absolutely delicious! I've not been smoking too long, maybe four months, and I'm mainly into fuller bodied cigars.

So, in my experience, starting mild is probably a good idea, then going on up to medium, and holding off on the heavy stuff like Camacho for a little later.

Id say go for the cusano 18 or the sol cubano connecticut to get your feet wet. My first was an onyx vintage during the cigar boom. What the hell was I thinking?
