Wooo Hooo  My Oakland Raiders have hired Art Shell back to be the head coach. They never should have fired him in the first place! Takes a Raider to know a Raider. I will not talk about the fact that no one else would take the job  This, as with many other things, calls for an Indios Puros Especial. Woo Baby, Raider fans can hope again. :hypercolor:

I don't watch the "Football" but, I'll help you celebrate.

Woo HOO! It's time for a celebration smoke. 8)

OK, I'm gonna head outside and light one up. I like Art Shell, and Big Al should have left him alone and not fired him.

YYYYYYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

As the Raiders are my second favorite team, I'm glad for this bit of news. I thought they should have given Shell more of a chance. Heck, Pittsburgh gave Sgt. Slaughter almost a decade and a half, and it finally paid off.

Old Raiders never die, and they always return home. Welcome back, Art Shell. Perhaps the Raiders will be fun to watch again. Ahhhhhh, to see the Raiders and my Jets at it again. Broken jaws, bloody heads, broken goal posts, bloodied fans, scads and oodles of penalties, final result, . . .

Raiders - 17
Jets - 13 Ahhhhhh, to see those days reprised!!!

What, you thought I was going to have the Jets win? Please, I may be a FAN of theirs, but I'm also realistic. I agree, Shell's return is occasion for a cigar. And foodislife will be cooking for us all, a seven course meal. He'll be doing the Iron Chef thingy with axegod75, and Calibus, our Temporarily Lost Raider Out On The Ark, will be Master of Ceremonies. Since MC Calibus isn't here, in his name, I shall say it, . . .

Chef axegod75, Chef foodislife . . .

ART SHELL IS BACK!!!

ALLEZ CUISINE!!!!

You got me pumped Bloof! I start my cuisine classes in 1 week and we're gonna have secret basket cookoffs as part of our finals. I'm entering a contest next weekend as practice

As for Art Shell...I hope one of his first moves involves QB :bigidea:

Hmmmmmmmmm, a QB huh? I have a suggestion. I'd LOVE to see my Jets give you guys a shot at, welllll, . . .

how about . . .

Sir Chadwicke of Penningtonshire, Lord of The Hanging Curve? I mean, guys have a history of doing only marginally with the Jets, or showing great promise, but not getting a fair chance, and then coming back to KILL us for other teams. Give it a shot, huh? We'll give ya Chad, REAL CHEAP!!!

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

AMEN. Brother!!... I was wondering the same thing...lol

Sounds like a great little snack for my former self, but a huge feast for me now, all but the Punch, Maybe we can change that to a Rocky Patel "A" sized Sungrown ? & sub a little single malt for the brandy , & some espresso to wash it all down iwth ! Enjoy, Vince
