To Everyone that has Teenagers

ive known about this long ago. in the grand scheme of things salvia isnt that bad. i would much rather have my kids chew on some salvia than smoke some pot. the effects are VERY short in time. A few moments after you spit it out you are back to normal. there are no known serious negative side effects.

its in the sage family. the sage that most of us know and love cannot get you high. Nor can it be refined down to get you high. dont throw away your spice rack. It is related to the sage family but is rare in the US. (if its here it isnt native)

be informed about what you and others are doing to your/them selves.

i was never into hallucinogens in my drug days; mostly because they last so freakin long. Salvia does not last long. Not that its "safe" but its "safer" than LSD, shrooms, peyote...

... and hey, at least its not crack.

all the positives aside, people have been known to fall down and do stupid things because of this drug. THe dissociation from reality that this causes is so strong that you have no clue what you are up to. and that, my friends, is bad.
