gigantic cans of Blazer triple refined butane yesterday from phatash.com. Sorry, Herr Colonel, I couldn't immediately find the Volcano butane and had to go for this incredible deal. The Lighter I got is a Nibo Space lighter, and is working quite nicely. Cute, sturdy rocket ship sort of design with a mirror under the cap, which makes the flame look even brighter. Can't get over the size of the cans of butane, and what a price!!! Hopefully, I'll do better than I have with Colibri butane, . . .

or Colibri lighters.

Bloof,

I've been using Clipper butane gas lately. I have found no problems with it, and it costs under $2 a can. Any comments?

Thanks for the tip, TT. Can't say I know anything about Clipper butane, but if it's the right kind of butane, and it's under $2 a can, that's the best deal I've heard yet!!! WOW!!!

I did learn one very interesting thing after my recent purchase. The cans of Blazer butane are huge compared to what I'm used to. The only butane I've ever seen are the skinny little cans from the cigar shops that contain 50 grams of butane in them. I got the cans of Blazer butane for a net price including shipping of 50 cents to one dollar less than the skinny little cans of Colibri and other brands I've had. The Blazer butane cans are 150 grams, or three times the size, so I'm basically paying a tiny fraction of what I used to pay for butane.
