Tueros - Are they U.S. legal?

Anybody know if these are available in the U.S.?

I was given a Tueros cigar by a friend who recently returned from Canada. It was a VERY smoooooth and enjoyable smoke!

The info on the cigar tube is somewhat ambiguous as to whether these are rolled from Cuban tobacco, or whether the original seed stock is of Cuban origin. A web search did not turn up any American sites carrying this brand.

My friend even put these on the declaraton form just to be safe and no one blinked an eye.

If someone can tell me:

1) Are these legal (i.e., non-Cuban)in the U.S.?

2) If "yes" to #1, does anybody know where I can get some?

Thanks in advance.

a company called Tueros the cigars are like $4.00 and available everywhere. The company is based in Montreal and uses Cuban seed tobacco. Which means the seeds for the plants come from Cuba, the tobacco is grown in Canada.

Stickman,

Thanks for the info.

Can you by chance provide any web retailers based in the U.S. that carry these?

I have not seen them either in any brick-and-mortar cigar shops nor the several online retailers I buy through.

If anybody else would like to recommend a place to look/shop, then please don't hesitate! :)

Any help would be appreciated.
