Just wanted to give you an update on my deployment status.
I had a ship date of March 1. Since my surgery had a slight complication (infection) they had to push that date back until the infection clears completely. So now the date looks like either the third week of March or first of April. My unit is scheduled to come back CONUS first week of May. Since I lost a few months I'll be staying there through June/July to make up for lost time with another unit. No big deal. I'll still be home for the holidays!
I'll be heading to DFAS in Kansas City for 2 weeks on March 3 for disbursing training. (that's why I won't be able to go to the San Diego meet! AAARRGGGHH! Come on guys......CHANGE THE DATE TO THE 17TH!....PLEEEAASE!!)
