Somewhere down in Texas

We have booked a cabin in Estes Park, Colorado in July 2012. Very excited. Cheryl and I have not taken a vacation in a little over three years. We love Colorado. Last time we went, we went to the Denver area and spent a couple of days in Vail.

Colorado is awesome, I spent 8 days there last year in Colorado Springs it was probably one of the best vacations I ever went on.

We spent a whole day in Colorado Springs. We took the cog train to the top of Pikes Peak and spent a couple of hours at Seven Falls. I would have to say that Springs was the highlight of that vacation.

I took the cog to the top of Pikes Peak also, quite the experience. Then another day we climbed the Manitou Incline, great time..

Dusty, if you make that trip a habit, maybe we will just have to haul our trailer down there and have a visit with you. We always book our favorite campsite at Waskesieu in January, and that is something we all we look forward to for the rest of the year. Google it, and you will see why.

The bad thing about the cog train ride to the top is that they only allow you like 30 minutes up there before you have to board for the trip back down. I think the next time we go to the top of Pike's Peah, we may drive it.

Booked our house in OBX for the third week of August. Halfway down Hatteras Island, Oceanfront. The six month countdown is starts tomorrow. Man, I can't wait!!!

New Silver Beach on the Cape for the first week of July. We have been doing this trip every year since I met my wife 14 years ago. Love it down there, its just so relaxing. Can't wait.
