Today I signed the papers for my first house.
Upon arrival back to my apartment I decided that a victory cigar was in order. I wanted a shorter smoke and I found that I had one (1) Cusano P1 robusto left. I pulled it out of its wrapper and took a smell. Very rich. Much more than the last few I have had. I licked the end and used my punch to cut a perfect hole in the end. My pre light draw reminded me of dark chocolate. I lit it up with a disposable lighter (my butane was out on my good lighter and I forgot what box I packed the fuel in) A few puffs and I was in. I was basking in all my new home glory when I got a phone call from the woman saying there was a problem with the closing. I panicked.
“We had to pay a lot of money on closing cost” she started. “Too much, in fact; we are getting a refund.”
“How much?” I asked, thinking it would be like $20
“$980”
“…”
Needless to say my cigar was twice as sweet after that.
