Please read this carefully, this was taken from Bloofington's forum rules at the top of this page. And Bloof quotes:
DISCUSSIONS ABOUT CUBAN CIGARS!!!
I realize that new members cannot possibly read everything posted here to get the total picture of how to proceed with complete smoothness when posting and circulating. But everyone should read the basic rules of posting (FORUM POLICIES) on the forums, because they are prominently displayed. That includes the rules, contained in separate posts, about posting images and jokes. But if all this reading gets to you, or over time you forget about certain aspects of conduct on the forum, please remember the following points:
(I) When it comes to Cuban cigars, do not talk about where to get them, speculate on how to get them, or talk about prices or any other pertinent detail of actually obtaining said products. Do not encourage others to do so.;
(II) When taken to task about any potential violation of item (I) above, do not shout down, insult, or flip off other members or the staff. If you've been openly breaking the policies outlined in item (I) above, you've crossed the line, whether you know it or not. Ignorance of the law is no excuse in American society, and it's no excuse here!;
(III) The CEO and other top staff members at AmBack have not only clearly outlined the policies in the referenced posts on forum rules and policies, but at times, the CEO, himself a cigar smoker, has stepped right in to these forums, to offer his own commentary, as well as post excerpts from legal references concerning Cuban cigars. There should be no confusion as to why these policies exist at AmBack.;
(IV) If you take a look around the forums, you will notice that they are comprised, and in large part cater to, the rugged outdoors and gun ownership type of demographic. As such, you can clearly, and also correctly conclude, that many are active in law enforcement, including the BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) , as well as the military, including Military Police. It is just plain disrespectful, imprudent, perhaps stupid, and just plain unnecessary to flaunt those rules in the name of First Amendment rights, with the membership comprised the way it is, and the rules laid down by the CEO and top staff members.
In conclusion, this post is here at the top of the forum as an announcement as a reminder to new members, since there seem to be a plethora of them lately. When you come to a web site, you have entered a stadium, where a certain game is played by certain rules. The zebras WILL enforce the rules here.
We understand . . .QUITE CLEARLY ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DO ALL OVER CYBERSPACE!!!
That DOESN'T mean that you will be allowed to use obscene and profane language and where you got your last box of Genuine Cohiba Esplendidos HERE .
If you don't like it, as much as we'd like to have you here, if you're for saying anything to anyone, there are porn sites and the Rachael Ray hate web sites, just to name a very few. It's all really up to you. If you run out on to the field, you will be ejected from the stadium.
By the way, it seems like the most recent "trouble" started and ended while I was away. Having been apprised of that situation by my readings of certain materials very early this morning, I have constructed this post as a GENERAL response to a problem that has been occurring with increasing frequency over the past two months.
I was also told straight up by one of the most recent offenders in a PM, that he likes to test the waters. So, for those who might think again I'm that using too heavy a hammer, we have problems around here, like any other web site. Those problems are people, who like to create problems for others in life, because they get their jollies that way. As such, we have our work cut out for us, and it's never ending vigilance.
I thank all the good members, the overwhelming majority, at least 99%, for their understanding, good will and fine forum comportment. I also thank them for helping to solve the problems that arise with their own vigilance. I thank the staff members who supervise me and provide the bulk of the work on this forum, and elsewhere throughout these forums.
With that said, I am going to lock this thread.
