What is your most prized cigar?

on the grass
Everyone has one or two cigars in their humidors that they look upon differently than all their other cigars. Its something special, something they are proud to have, something they are waiting to smoke for a very special occasion.

I have two. The first one is a God of Fire that was given to me by DBRAD4D for my wedding. I plan on smoking it on my 5th anniversary.

The other is just a plain old CAO black. Nothing special about the cigar itself. What makes this cigar so prized to me is that a good friend of mine gave it to me before moving to Colorado. They have another one exactly like it. The next time we meet up we will have aged CAO blacks to share together.

Thats a great story about the CAO Black's and your buddy. I have a couple primo's that I prize (or just cant get myself to light). God of Fire Robusto, and an Ashton ESG. Both of these were purchased from Casa Fuente (paid way too much now that I think about it). I just can never get myself to put the fire to either of those, so with that thought process those must be my most prized sticks :D

Camacho SLR; gifted to me by an old forum member Rayvn who I have not seen on here in a long time (We miss you Steve). The cigar was handed to him by Christian Eiroa at a PA cigar shop event. I don't think I could ever smoke it.
Another is one sent in a PIF from the infamous BP; my first habano received from a forum member; It is a '05 PSP2. Another one that I don't think I will smoke anytime soon.

The pricey sticks are nice; but ones with a story behind it are much cooler.

I have a box of cigars from a dear friend on the forum, I don't know if I will ever be able to smoke them or part with them without tears welling up in my eyes. Thank you oh so much, Barcochris for the box of Backwoods.

I have a Padron 64 Pyramid thats special to me. It was a surprise gift from my g/f along with a Monarca she picked up. Usually when I mention cigars she just smiles and rolls her eyes but when she dropped those sticks on me I realized that she does take mental notes. I smoked the Monarca on Christmas Eve, the Pyramid I plan on smoking on our 5th anniversary in October.

Good Question... I'd probably say the one I like the best and can smoke the most!
I have some crazy opus, and really old crazy opus that I guess I would say is pretty prized though...

My cigar is more of a had than a have. A short story maduro gifted to me by Caste Crest. I smoked on new years day. Only 200 sticks were made in 2001.

Ohhh I almost forgot I have a Emanelo (machine made) in crystal from 1922. Still smokeable condition. When my grandfather passed away when I was 13 I found it in his basement still humidified and have been taking care of it ever since.

A Ghurka Beast that I bought when I first started smoking cigars. I've had my share of these since then, but this one I originally planned on smoking for my birthday a few years ago. Well that birthday smoke didn't pan out and the last one didn't either. Then I told myself that it would be my first cigar in my finished smoking room. That didn't happen either.

I don't smoke enough anymore to justify cutting back to bundles and seconds, so everything I smoke is just because I want to and has nothing to do with price or special occasions. Everyday alive is a special occasion. This one cigar just escapes that philosophy no matter how many times I say it.

Two.

God of Fire gifted from cutter

Forbidden X gifted from Axe

At first I was torn as to which I would smoke when I got back from Iraq. Now I know it'll be the Forbidden.

Axe gave that to me about a year and a half ago. So it's got some good age on it. The GOF is still quite new. I want to let that one sit for a while. Maybe I'll light it up on the day I get out of the Corps!

Right now, I have to say my 3 Padron 1926 40th anniversary, and 2 Opus x that I have been sitting on for over a year. I also have 3 Sinatra cigars from my first batch of smokes over 4 years ago.

I've got a few Padron 40th Anniversary in my humidor as well. I want to smoke them, but I just love looking at them so much.

I have a 2 cigar sampler that Frank Vincent signed called the Public Enemy. I don't think they make them any more and I don't really know much about them. I'm saving it more for the signature than the stick. It's pretty cool but nothing special...I'd rather smok'em than stor'em...

I have a box dedicated to my special smokes that I'm afraid to smoke since I dont know when I will be able to purchase another. Incuded is Opuses, 2 ESGs, VSGs, Casa Fuentes, Padron 1926, Cohiba quban, anejo, and a couple special cigars gifted to me.

This is a great thread brother!!

I have a very special place for GOF's. I always try to have one in my humi to smoke on my birthday, and this year I acutally have 2 of them, so one will get some great age before its burned. I also have a Cohiba Ltd Edition that will burn this summer to celebrate 25 years of marraige.

great question.

I have a gof from a box trade with Chris a year ago, and a 100 anos belicos that every time I think about lighting it, I cant . I don't know why. Maybe cause there very limited, and soon you wont be able to get them.

I have npot had anything so far I wanted to stash away. I smoked a gof and the opus's that where pifed to me and the ones I bought. Maybe I will save some sometime but I simply can not resist smoking them.

I have a few Hoya 55's left over from my wedding in 1970, last time I smoked one was when my second grandson was born, he is 9 now , dammmm time flys, i will keep the last 3 , one for each of them to smoke when they graduate , & one for ME !!
