Is the Transporter 2 really as bad as everyone says it is? The only other movie I have here is the Zorro sequal which looks blah. Maybe Ill just catch up on the sopranos on demand before the new season kicks off.

I haven't seen Transporter 2, yet. Should be getting the DVD from Netflix soon.

Transporter 1 was great! Especially Hsu Chi! WOW!

Alex, Transporter 2 was pretttyyy bad....I had high hopes for it after loving the first one, but this one just kinda fell flat.

I've never seen or heard any reviews about the Zorro sequel....I say just stick w. the good ol' Sopranos!! :)

Considering that I didn't like the Transporter, and people who did DON'T like Transporter 2, I'm going to avoid it.

Zorro. . .well, at least you get to look at Katherine Zeta Jones. . .when picking between two not great movies, pick the one with the hotter chicks.

Dagoneit, I'm in the minority again!

I LIKED T2. It is not as good as the first, because I feel they attempted to do too much. But still, I thouroughly enjoyed it.

This is why we do not take movie recommendations from BP! :p

J/K Brother...I actually never saw either one

I never really liked the action flicks that much. Too much bad acting and aweful lines. I am more of an obscure comedy and mafia movie type of guy. I also like the war movies for the 80's; Full metal Jacket, Platoon, those types. Come to think of it; there hasn't been a good war movie in a while. The last good one that I could think of was Prvt Ryan, but I don't think that will be a classic like the other two I mentioned. Anyone know any good war movies that have come out recently?

Saving PVT Ryan was a great movie. We were Soldiers was a pretty good one also. I saw Jarhead at the theatre and was disappointed by it.(the setting was in war, but was not really my idea of a war movie) Although not really a movie, Band of Brothers is probably my all time favorite. I have the DVD box set, and have watched it all MANY times....my.02

I'd skip both and watch the Olympics, or at least wait until the games are over before deciding.

Phish, what are your favorite mafia/mob movies?

Some of mine are The Godfather Trilogy (yes, even part Pt. 3!), Goodfellas, Casino, Donnie Brasco, A Bronx Tale, Boss of Bosses, The Untouchables, Gotti, and of course, The Sopranos series! :)

All of those are good. I agreet that Godfather 3 is a good movie, but people always try to campare it to the first two and in tht aspect, it will always fall short. Those movies were so good that any mob movie other than Godfellas will fall short. Goodfellas is my favorite movie of all time. I have seen it over 300 times. I used to fall asleep to it every night. I have to get it on DVD, I still only own the VHS version.

In Good Fellas when he jumps out of his car and tells his girlfriend to go inside, and pistol whips that dude that lives accross the street. That is my favorite part of any Mob movie every. SWEEET.

As far as mob movies...I would have a 3 way tie at the top - Godfather I & II and A Bronx Tale (and I have only had 2 women pass the test from the Bronx Tale so far in my life!)
