CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA!!!!
Well folks, I'm finally taking a second to let all you know why I've been MIA for the past months. I attached some links with the house picks in it...

Hope all is well, miss being on here regularly, but I can promise the sweet Carolina summer is affording me many opporitunities to smoke my gars!!

gorgeous house, but oh no! i just remember i sent a couple sticks to you which may have been an old address then a few weeks ago?!

Beautiful house, eclipse. I scrolled through the pics and it was like watching a house being un-built :) Here's to a happy, safe and prosperous future for you and yours.

Paul, what a beautiful house. Now, which room is mine? I prefer an upper floor.

Too funny from the usual suspects of course!! I am buying a nice piece of furniture instead of doing the walk in. Honestly I just can't stomach waiting this long to get into the house only to create drywall dust....I thought I would avoid that by building a house....but no such luck!!!

PSI...I'm still in the apartment here in Charlotte 7320 Hagen court...If you sent them there, I would have recieved them....I did get some sticks from Bachoris(sp?) but I don't think I recieved anything from you...

Thanks for the wishes Mikey....I have been taking pictures of any progress made every week. There were only a few weeks that there was no noticeable progress, but we have something like 65 pics of the house from the land to current state!

Perfect! I have just the spot for you my friend! PLenty of room on the second floor....and the game room is on the second floor, so we can enjoy a game of pool, some spirits, and a fine cigar all in one....

Then of course you don't have to go far to crash!!!

Thinking strongly about getting a nice air filtration system in that room since the heat and humidity can be pretty brutal, I'd like to be able to enjoy a stick in the comfort of AC.

We Shall See...

I will post the digitals of the landscape plan I recieved last night! A few trees...LOL We aren't in the house yet, hoping we are looking as the first week of August. At least then I'll have some grass...LOL

son of a b*tch  ...i sent a "thank you" pif for the opus, there was an 100 anos in there and something else- cant remember...ill check the tracking again if i can find the ticket...i remember checkin before and it said it was delivered so i hopefully didnt send it to the wrong place...perhaps still at the front desk of your apt?

Holy big house batman. That house looks great. I am very jealous.

If you don't mind me asking; how much do the houses in your neighborhood go for? I may just ahve to move down to NC and escape the cold of Boston.

Thanks everyone for your wondeful comments!! Phish, the house costed us 296K out the door and we took every option the builder offered (the base price is 262K) 4000 sq ft finishes, 480 un finshed/heated. We are on just over 1/2 acre which is really unheard of here in Charlotte proper, so we got lucky with the corner lot!

Considering the 1400 sq ft house I was living in up in Maryland sold for 379,900.00 and I bought it for 180,000 and had 25,00 in a 2nd mortgage, we ended up doing very well. This was really the reason I looked to get a job in this area because I saw it much like Maryland 10 years ago, still reasonable, growing, and eventually going to be as expensive as the Maryland area as long as the tech industry, and of course banking holds up in town!

Looking forward to a sit down hosting if I can once we get settled in, maybe in November since the weather here should still be outdoor suitable!! :D

The dirt alone would be almost that much, if you could find it, here in northern Cal. Then the house would be about 650,000 to 750,000. Nice deal. Damn I need to get out of Ca.

:eeek: :eek:mg: :eeek:

My tiny little cape has a propery value larger than that. I could live like a king down there. Time to start looking.

Web, I was in Santa Clara in 2000 looking at double wide trailers for 375K! I hear ya bro, love Cali, but the love does not spread to the wallet when out there!!

Phish, that's exactly why I moved us here, and I just lucked out that they paid me more since the shillsets were not local, so, I got both a raise, and a reduction in costs!

All are welcome anytime, just let us know!
