I have heard people saying good things about the Xikar lighter but what do yous think is better the Xikar or the Lotus http://www.elighters.com/lotus-lighters-lotus-2.html when i went to the cigar lounge over here i went un knowling so i had to borrow the owners lighter and thats what he had it was nice beautiful nice weight to it and great flame which do you think is better to get... im getting tired of my JR Colabri
I really like the Z-plus lighter 'cus it's cheap and I'm cheap. I also have a Robusto Colibri (but, I only use it at home.)

how long does it last once its filled up? is it heavy... i like it to have a nice weight to it

I have a Mini Xtend and a Z-plus insert. I mainly use the Dupont and I keep the Z-plus as a backup for when the Xtend runs out of fluid, which it does frequently, as small as it is.

I've never had a Mini my friend doesn't carry them, but I'd use
one in the house.

Having had accessories from Lotus, Porsche, and Xikar, I can safely say that Xikar is the brand to go with. One simple reason. Lighters no matter who makes them are unreliable at best. My Porsche and my Lotus lighters broke within a year and I had to pay repair costs and shipping.
Xikar has not had nearly the problems and if it does, I know based on their lifetime warrant they will replace it. That type of guarantee goes a long way.

Well the girlfriend made the final decision (since she is paying for it) she said the lotus looked the nicest so my order went in this morning for the Lotus L2 lighter in gunmetal pearl and for the Xikar multi tool in black.
