Imagine, if you will, the embargo is lifted.

1. Which would be your favorite cubans and why?

2. What would be your "everyday" smoke?

3. How about a "special occasion" smoke?

I would like to hear how you would describe them (taste, strength, aroma, finish. . .)

**edit- If you don't want to post, please PM me. thanks.**

1. Favorite Cubans: Choix Supreme, Bolivar PC, any Siglo
2. Everyday smoke would be the Choix Supreme
3. Special Occasion would have to be the Cohiba Sublime

Since this is pure fiction at this point, and the embargo is still in effect, I would say, if the embargo were no more, I would love to have the PSD4, Monty 2, and BCG. The BCG would probably be my "almost everyday smoke"!

The Monty2 and PSD4 would be special occasion smokes.

Taste? Why...great! 8)

That's tough....

I would say from my experience I can tell you everyday's.

PSD4
ELDM Choix Supremes
Bolivar PC's

I'm going to have to think about the rest....

every days, choix supremes, special occasion monte #2. i dont have much experience with isoms.

How would you describe them? How strong are they? How do they differ in taste?

I am not sure you could properly descibe the taste as it is complex and the last time I had one I was half in the bag and punch drunk from watching my Patsy's get their butts whipped by Denver, but they are as smooth as silk. They are quite complex with mellow spice and flavours (at lteast the ones I had) and the finish is lasting and tasty.

Of the 3 I had last weekend, I enjoyed the Por Larranga PC the best. It was delicate, complex, and oh so smooth.

My favorite Cuban is definitely a Monty #2.

I also liked the Cohiba I had. I also had a H. Uppman, a Fonseca, a Romeo y Julieta in smaller sizes.

My everyday smoke would probably be a Montecristo #2. You just can't beat those things.

Ha please keep in mind I was just out of the country for a week so everything was perfectly legal.

Those Habanas definitely pack a punch!

The PSD4's are great right out of the box, smooth, full, rich aroma, thyen they change pretty drastically after a few months, deeper body and lots of spice.

The Choix Supremes are just solid anytime....

Do you mean they get stronger with age?

I love reading all of these posts. Funny, how reading about cigars makes you want to smoke 'em.

Kinda like reading Vince's posts makes you hungry.

Cuban cigars have their own unique flavor due to the soil and micro climate that exists in Cuba. Nicaraguan tobacco has its own unique flavor and it doesn't make it any better or any worse than Cuban tobacco.

As far as a favorite there are way too many to list. Here are a few of my favorites:

Partagas Seleccion Privada # 1 from 1997

Bolivar Lonsdale from 1993

Upmann Monarch from 1998

Cohiba Siglo V from 1998

RyJ Churchill dress box and tubos from 1998

As far as everyday favorites here is a short list of what I am currently smoking:

Upmann Super Corona from 1999 and 2000. This particular cigar has a very nice earthy and sweet flavor profile.

Sancho Panza Molinos from 1998. Has a nice clean tobacco taste that has a honeyed sweet flavor profile.

Partagas Serie Du Connoisseur # 1 from 03. This cigars is a spicy strong old Cuban style cigar.

Cohiba Siglo III. This has the classic Cohiba flavors of coffee bean. Very nice nose.

As far as a special occasion Cuban, here are a couple of mine.

Custom rolled Cohiba A

Custom rolled Partagas Culebras, Laguito # 2 sized braids.

Dunhill Cabinetta

You untie the bundle and smoke each braid individually. They are great to share with a couple of friends.

Is there a way to smoke 'em all at the same time?

The blends are all the same and no you don't want to smoke all three at the same time.

Brenda, especially a girl of your size. You'd be dry heaving for a month.
