I recently purchased a box of cigars from a nice estate sale and tried researching the company ( La Insular) and found information on the factory building in Manila Philippines that burned down in 1944. Does anyone know if they relocated or are these cigars 80 years old?
I found this cigar box which belonged to my father.. I believe it is from the 70s-80's. All 25 cigars are sealed and certified. Can somebody help me with their value and if they can still be smoked?
Hi, I’m a pretty new cigar smoker, only about a year. I only smoke one a week. My problem is, my cigars start off tasting great but after 1/2 to 1 hour the flavor completely dies and they just taste bitter and ashy. I unfortunately haven’t kept a detailed journal because I’ve definitely smoked...

Anybody ever smoke all 6 types (Ruby, gold, emerald, sapphire, diamond, platinum) of the La Aurora Preferidos line? I won a box of 8 rubies, bought a box of 8 golds, and bought a box that contained one of each. Have yet to smoke them, I'm going through my cheaper cigars first. I did smoke one...
I used hot glue on seals between the glass and wood of my humidor to ensure airtight seal, as well as using vinyl foam tape around the edges of the openings. I have a foam humidifier with PG solution and two preloaded (PG) humistat tubes along with a digital aftermarket hygrometer. I've had...
I just won 8 La Aurora Preferidos Ruby ($100 value) for free. They come in aluminum tubes. My question is, how long do they last in their aluminum tubes, in terms of humidity, before I have to put them into my humidor separately? This also applies to any cigars that may come in glass tubes, as...
