Enjoying Life!
If you had $1000 to spend on boxes of cigars what would you choose? I will be doing this early next month and have to not only choose my favorites, but also buy some give away cigars, which of course I want to be able to enjoy also. Hmmm, the delima!

Hmmmm I guess it depends on how many you boxes want. Mind you that I am kind of an aged cigar snob but my picks would be:

2003 Oliva Master Blends I Robusto 325.00

1999 Camacho Havana Petit 100.00

Cusano C10 Crown Corona 65.00

La Aurora 100 Anos Robusto 300.00

Rocky Patel Signature Series Toro 160.00

Cigar.com Cameroon Label Robusto 46.00

All of these are great cigars that I enjoy and are more or less in the “daily smoke” category.

One box of 5 Vegas Series “A” Alpha for $75.95

One box of Camacho Diploma for $129.95
http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=351
One box of CAO Brazilia Gol for $89.95
http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=251
One box of C.com Q*ban label robusto size for $41.36

One box of Cusano corojo vintage 1997 toro for $91.95

One box of the Edge Missle by Rocky Patel (corojo) for $99.95
http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=180
One box of Gurkha Class Regent Toro for $174.95
http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=338
One box of Punch Gran Puro rancho for $117.95

One box of Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Madrid for $85.00
http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=358
One box (of 10) of Pueblo Dominicano Ambassador for $89.95

That brings us up to $996.96. With an order like that im sure shipping will be free.

The $3.04 left over you can spend on half of a six pack of beer. The other half of the beer will have to be bought by a friend whom you are going to share one of your many cigars with.

…when can I come over?

i think a few of these may have changed.

i may go with the Italia in the robusto size (whatever thats called) not the brazilia gol.
and i may go with the cusano corojo 97 instead of the edge corojo (for a few bucks cheaper. )

iduno. I also may opt out of the pueblo dominicanos for a hand full of Gurkha Centurians.

all nice choices. I am planning on buying at least 2 nice boxes specificaly for aging purposes.

Kuzi, Beer is an entirely different budget :D . Have to be able to enjoy beer and scotch with the smokes!!!!

I have about 3 weeks to fully decide. That is when my cabinet comes in, and having time to season it.

ahhh the plot thickens, you have a cabinet coming.

I might offer this one peice of advice for any new cabinet owners. Dont worry about filling it right away. I made that mistake and bought a bunch of stuff I thought was just okay. Now I dont have room for some of my new favorites. Live and learn I guess.

Oliva Master Blends I

I'm dying to get a box of these before cigar.com runs out but what can I say... there just outta my price range right now. In other words, the lady would kill me for spending that much on a box of cigars!

What my basic plan is, to spend the initial $1000, that will probably buy between 5 and 8 boxes depending on what I get. I need some give away cigars for clients (ride it off  ), then take my time filling the rest with other favorites. It is a 1000 + capacity cabinet, to go along with my 300 ct at home.

Godd advice alex

Those OMB 1's are absolutely fantastic cigars. I struck gold at my local B&M and got a fistful of them for dirt cheap. Probably my favorite Nicaraguan smoke at the moment.

I don't know what I'd do with a grand. Probably divide equally between boxes of stuff I love, boxes of everyday stuff, a few super premium singles and some sticks for any rookies or mooches that may stop by.

You guys are going to be the death of me :D I just smoked a few master blends I and honestly, if some of you folks on the forum dont get a chance to try these you are really going to miss out. It is one of the finest aged cigar I have had the privilage of smoking. Soooooooo I just marked them 30% off but you have to get them before this Sunday. Please dont post this special on any other forums or sites.

Guys, jump on this offer while you can. These cigars are excellent. Like I said before, this is my favorite Nicaraguan and that includes the Padron Anniversary line.

Three thumbs up on the Master Blends.

Andrew, if you are having problems with those three thumbs, I am sure a doctor can fix that for you!!

You guys all forgot the all time fav, Cusano 18 Natural. A box of those babys will provide hours of quality entertainment.

Another must have would be some RP 1990, the gentlemens maduro.

There you go bro!

I would use it as a down payment on the $5000.00 box of Padrons in the last Holts catalog !
