cigarettes that is. Finally. I woke up two weeks ago and said the hell with it. No urges, cravings or hangover at all. Once in a while I smoke a Torano Gold mini-cigar in the morning but I am closing that habit out as well. At the moment I smoke seven or eight cigars a week, that will not change anytime soon. What I have found out is that my palate seems to be a lot more refined and able to pick up on more of the subtleties in my cigars. Another bonus - that $5 a day on cancer sticks now goes towards finer tobacco products.
I smoked a 3 Siglos Churchill tonight, a cigar that I thought was kind of one dimensional before. Post-cigarette habit, this is anything but one dimensional. Great smoke: some toffee, wood, and leather taste to it. Highly recommended.
I now get to revisit a bunch of cigars and see what I think second time around plus I am no longer potentially commiting slow suicide. Good deal huh?
