Some more noob ramblings and questions at the end.

My first choice the cigar.com purple label was a little dissapointing. Relaxed this weekend in the backyard for my second choice a Sol Cubano Maduro, with some Maker's Mark, and a book. WONDERFUL CIGAR and even though it was a robusto seemed to last forever. Only my second cigar, so I haven't progressed beyond the like it/don't like descriptions. Afterwards I felt so relaxed, just like I had recieved a massage.

The bad part is when I went back upstairs. I felt light headed, flushed, and just the slightest bit nauseated. Ended up dozing off, when I woke up I felt fine. Is that the cigar version of a hangover?

Give that man a .................... :D :D :D

I did have an empty stomache  . Okay, lesson learned.

I have heard come soda, pepsi or coke helps tremendously....

I have also heard a sugar cube works well.....

I hate those feelings. I have yet to try the soda or sugar cube remedy. Personally, I just sit or lie down on the couch and listen to music until the feelings pass.

I've had those feelings several times myself. A lot of it depends on the time of day, which I suspect has plenty to do with what's in your stomach at the time. Usually the lightheaded (hangover) feelings pass fairly soon, but you'll learn which cigars you should avoid at certain times. Sometimes the feelings of light-headedness are not totally unwelcome, but at other times you don't need this.

You'll learn, over time how to manage this.
