Coffee/Cigar pass

Anyone interested in some sort of coffee pass, adding cigars to the mix?

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

What I would like to do. Is we have 12 people. Each person will send 3-4 people (not sure which yet) 2-1/4 lb samples of coffee and 2 smokes. It is a pretty quick pass. But I am certainly open for sugestion.

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

I am in, as long as we have a week or two for an order to get here; I am waiting for next friday to get my bonus and put in an order for some cigars.

Also, I think it might be better if we do one half pound so that the person sampling the coffee gets a better idea of the true taste of the coffee.

If we're just doing 1 or 2 people, I'm in - more than that and my financial advisor/wife may assault me

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

We usually do two or three. I think two is a good number; but more is fine by me.

Craig, maybe there is a way we can work it out that if people want to send out more, they will receive that number too; I.E. if you want to only send out two package you will receive two and if you want to send out 4 you will get four; so that we can make everyone happy. I have not organized one of these in the past, but maybe it will be possible.

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

Does the coffee need to be coffee that you roasted or could it be a great coffee that your favorite roaster did?

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

Barco,
Good to see you in here. Does the new diet permit you to have coffee; or is it too acidic?

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

I will be able to have coffee but not now.

it is the caffeine that is the issue right now, I am not allowed any caffeine at all. I guess it can cause ulcers. Cant have a cigar for another 6 to 8 weeks

Re: Coffee/Cigar pass

So far we have 5. I will not start this until we have 12. If it takes a couple weeks or mor so be it. I just want enough people so we can make everyone happy, wether it be send to one person or 4. Just a nice variety is great. I am just worried about the daddy now that he started roasting, might be black beans .
