Well, it's 66 degrees here in sunny, errrrrr, moonlit Fishkill, New York, and you all know nothing separates me from my bourbon when the summer starts to turn cool and the signs of autumn are nigh. We've had nights as low as 51 recently, and the desire is returning. Yes, every year at this time, it's time for . . .
BOURBON!!!
Yes, bourbon and rye, those original and as American as NFL football, spirits. Fine, premium whiskey, and I have just kicked off the night, errrrr, morning, with a sip of Bulleit Bourbon, a rather inexpensive but highly touted distillation of My Olde Kentuckie Hohme . . .
Boy. :sm_angel:
Nothing to write home about as I may have mentioned in a post not too long ago, but satisfactory nonetheless. You may remember that the "season" lasted until the first week of June, because of an unusually cool spring, especially those crisp, country nights.
It's coming folks, the feel is in the air.
BOURBON SEASON!!!
:wine:
And it's going to take a lot of bourbon and rye to get me through the "season," if you know what I mean. Watching Sir Chadwicke of Penningtonshire, Lord of The Hanging Curve is going to drive me to drink anyway, so it's time for my Spring Training.
 :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao:
Drink up, but if you're a Jets fan, wait until they get rid of the girl at quarterback. If he throws ONE 15 yard pass completion over the middle without making it look like a high pop over second base, I MIGHT reconsider his nickname, but I don't think so.
Drink up. I will. :dunno:
