Once again, I'm not saying wolf couldn't spot one, I'm saying I have had a love affair with the opus and anejo series for awhile and I may not be able to spot these fakes, until smoked! Some are more obvious then others, but once again, there is a lot of money to be made out there selling these so, it is their best interest to make them fakes as good as possible!

I just wanted to beat the dead horse a bit more that there are plenty of wonderful domestic as well as cuban sticks that are just as good of a smoke as the Opus. New folks coming into this have to understand that, since in my experience, people who dabble in cigars tend to get catch phrases, or name, and drop them to make themselves look better or more knowledgable. When a newbie is speaking to these people, they know no different, so they think they must try this cigar, since it's the best in the world!! I like to argue it a bit :) Mind you, I am an Opus/anejo whore, but I'm one by choice, and I also understand and enjoy many other smokes that are just as good!

I'm off the soap box now :D

We know. We know. There are plenty of other good smokes out there which I smoke already, but my point was just that I would like to take advantage of a good deal for the Opus if it is available. I was talking for myself personally, not any newbies. I would suggest that anyone new to smoking NOT spend their money on an Opus because they probably won't even be able to appreciate it. Anyways, I like to argue too but if you make me repeat myself one more time...

:2guns:  :m16: .................................................... :rotflmao:

:tomcat: Don't make me repeat that the Steelers are gonna win the super bowl this year!!!!!!!!!!!! :tomcat:

NOOOOOO!!!! Don't say such things. Do you want to kill me man?!?! :banghead:

I thought they were going to do it last year. They may very well do it this year. "Sergeant Slaughter" may just get his dream come true at last.

  What can I say man...Born and raised in the Drinking town with a football habit!!! Hell, when you look at it and say, there really is no other sports team worth a crap, football was it. Now in recent times, the penguins have been great, but they fell off the map over the last 10 years or so. With all the kick ass drafting Mario got for the team this season, we'll see if they can all play as a team, if so, they might be quite the team this season.

Sorry my friend, the bus is starting, maddox is another season older....mmm...smell it in the air, Pittsburgh's going to the super bowl!!!! 8) 8)

Oops, you said Steelers. When you said repeat I just assumed Patriots and didn't pay attention to the name. I don't mind the Steelers if it won't be the Raiders but I HATE the Patriots ever since they won that game in the snow that they shouldn't have. That was the Raiders year to win it all and we got screwed.

I have to agree with that, and not just because the Raiders are my second favorite team. I understand how according to the way the rule is written, that the Patriots were given the call, but as far as I'm concerned, that just makes it a stupid rule. I think the Raiders, who were on the verge at that point of becoming a truly great, possibly even dominating team, had their collective spirit broken, and never recovered as a result.

Sorry to break the news guys but Patriots will be at the superbowl again. They will also beat the Raiders opening day. I'll tell you what Calibus for fun if the Raiders win I will send you my favorite cigar. If the Pats win you send me your favorite cigar. If you want to. Any ways Wolf can you get those Opus X's for that price? If so I want one.

We should start a little pool like that! You take your favorite team in a matchup, if your team wins, the loser sends you a freebie, whatever that may be, a stick, a shirt, but it has to be related to either cigars, or adult beverages ( I.E- beer, wine, scotch, so on). We can make a list here and post the NFL schedule and go from there. If interested, post here, and I'll try to get things rollin on it. By the way, I got the steelers!....LMAO!

Well, what happened from That Little Mishap In The Snow, is that the Patriots have risen to take their place as one of the great dynasties in football history. You can't take anything away from them, and I wasn't trying to, just offering my opinion of that moment. They are scary good, and Tom Brady has risen to become a premiere quarterback. They could very well go to the big one and win again.

Well, gentlemen, I have some not so great news. It seems that I spoke too soon. I went down to the smokeshop today and asked about the Opus, but they're out of them, so I won't be able to get any for youz guyz. :(

LAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe. Do you still want me to get you the VSG's?!?!?!

you can if you want to, but you don't have to. Lemme know if you do, I'll try and get something nice for you.

The thing is Bloof, even according to the rule the ref was wrong. As soon as Brady touched the ball with his left hand, it was no longer tucked. Then it was a secured ball. Anything after that was a fumble. No matter how you look at it, the rule is stupid to begin with, but the ref used the rule in the wrong situation to screw the Raiders.

Yup, or as Alice In Wonderland said, . . .

". . . curiouser and curiouser." :dunno: :duh:

Either that, or because of the spectre of 911 hanging over the country's head, somebody, somewhere, way up in the NFL hierarchy, decided that the PATRIOTS had to make it to the Super Bowl, instead of the RAIDERS. Believe me, I'm not totally convinced that didn't happen.

Of course not. It's not like the refs blew any more calls through the playoffs as the Pats inexplicably won the Super Bowl. Of course pass interference isn't a penalty if you are wearing red, white, and blue. Didn't you know that?
