Curious what the average age is on this and the cigar forum

I'm a whippersnapper at 18. I'm too young to legally drink, but that's not to say that I can't get my pops to get alcohol for me!  I have a few privileges that many parents won't give to their sons or daughters. Heh heh heh.

$tinger, just 18 , Dammm I have stains in my underware older than that ! hahahahaha, are you allowed to play outside with the big kids yet? hahahahaha Enjoy, Vince

*Casual*: Applies a big X on both of $tinger's hands as he walks through this joint.

I've been playing with the big kids for years.

Your profile said you like to sleep all day, I guess you cant hang out all night with the big boys & go to work in the morning, no stamina ! My Father told me a long time ago, "If you can howl with the BIG DOGS at night be MAN enough to make it to work in the morning".
Come back when you are able to hang with the Big Dogs !
Enjoy, Vince

Well, maybe I don't sleep all day, more like into the early afternoon, like 1-2pm. As for stamina, five words, two liter of Mountain Dew.

1 or 2 in the afternoon, , I am ready to come home from work, take a shower, & go out again, you sleep to late you miss all the fun, when I was the Chef at a local county club, I was in the Kitchen at 4 am , got out for a few hours just after lunch, took a quick trip to the Pool swam a few laps & went back to work till 8 pm , closed the kitchen & went out with the guys till midnight & then back up for work, never missed a night out or a cold beer !
Mt.Due , to sweet, to much sugar, will rot your teeth & your brain, Coffee or espresso is the choice of the MY generation, & it mixes well with scotch !, You sleep when your a baby, you sleep when your to old to do anything else, the rest of the time you should be LIVING LIFE , even now as I am retired I still get up & go out as much as I can , I dont want to miss anything, I dont want to hear the storys of how great the surf was this morning when I was at home in bed, I want to be there telling you how good it was & why did you miss it, , yea there is no surf in Pittsburgh, but you should be able to fallow the story, Enjoy, Vince

Meh, I don't miss very much, my buddies usually come over to hang out later in the afternoon. What I'm doing works for me and that's all that matters.

I am glad you dont miss much, but how much more could you do if you didnt sleep all day? ZZZZZZZZZZ, even as a retired old fart & a remeo, thats retired old men eating out , I get together with my old friends & a few young ones for coffee & a cigar as often as we can or like tonight a few will come to my smoking room for Coffee single malt & cigars , a little jazz on the CD player, & thats a great evening when your to old to head out to the bars & pick up a lady, but my wife frounds on that !! Enjoy, Vince

At 40, I run 3-6 miles every other day, push a little iron, shoot Expert each and every time, and outruck everyone in my unit. Badass, not really. I am just a worn out Jarhead pulling duty in
TAC-1 10th UEx. When my MIL-SPEC 4 x 54, and 6.5 x 54 Torpedo's are released to me from Drew Estate(This is a joint concept effort between Jon Drew, and Myself- Box/Label is a wooden 'ammo' box, and the logo is a white broken star outline[WWII] with a white stencil MIL-SPEC. It will fall under the Subculture Line), I will be doing it all with the perfect cigar. Of course I will send Bloofington a box to distribute to all here who are interested.

Inside connection to Drew Estates, huh? Pretty cool. They have really made a big splash over the past few years. Always good to see the cigar industry thriving.

When I started my small business, Distorted Services, I was committed to exclusively selling Drew Estates products. Since then, I have had requests to open up to Torano, La Aurora, and this week, I will be looking in to Fuente, La Flor Dominicana, and maybe Padron. I am definately committed to selling no product with a rating of less than 87.
My association with Jon Drew started when I deployed to Afghanistan, and took a few pictures of me and 'Blondie'. When I started the business, I received a few pointers, encouragement, and solid advice from the great folks at DE.
Different? Yes. Great Cigars? Hell Yes!

Beware of "cigar ratings." They are not necessarily all they're cracked up to be, and that's the truth.

I agree with you Bloof, I have had some sticks that were rated in the 90's & I would never smoke one again if it was free !
Enjoy, Vince

I found that out with the Good Fuentes. They were very under rated. I do see the Insider ratings as a decent guide to what I would try though...I have been lucky at this point.
To be straight, it has been more of an idea of what a company has to offer that gives me interest in trying new stuff. La Flor Dominicana has some good stuff, Torano has really suprised me, and everytime I try something new from teh Drew Estate Natural, or La Vieja Habana lines, I am thouroughly suprised.
What you gents think of the Chisel Maduro from La Flor Dominicana? Early Years from Drew Estate?

Never had that Chisel from La Flor because I shy away from strong cigars unless they are Cubans that friends send me. In that case, they still get a lot of aging before I smoke them. I love the La Flor 2000 line however, one of my all time favorites, full of rich flavor, but too strong for me right out of the box. Never had anything from Drew Estates. La Vieja Habana Black Pearl's were great when I first tried them but haven't had one in years.

I have had a few sticks from Drew , the "flavoried "line like the Kuba kuba , remind me of lars teatons , & the natural line is "supposed" to be less flavored, but the one that I smoked had a chocolate taste that was tossed out as soon as I got outside , if I want anything "Flavored" I will by my wife a bottle of wild cherry douche!
Enjoy, Vince

:eek:mg: :eek:mg: :eek:mg:

 :help:

I agree on the flavored cigars. Get them out of my sight. Handrolled, well aged, pure tobacco only please.

Let's see now; birth age 48, physical age 57, I feel like 23 so my average age would be 42.3.
