I hope the wife doesnt find out

They are "Bolivar Gold Medal" Special cigar made last year.
I d believe there were only 5000 boxes made.
Becoming very hard to find.

This is a very easy question to answer, Get a locker at the cigar shop , simple, she will never know what you have there, & they will be kept in good condition & you can get them anytime the shop is open, , I keep a few sticks here at home , at one time I had 11K sticks at home , & sold off a bunch & paid off the house , well now I am rebuilding my collection , granted the 4 boxes of Opus will be hard to replace & I dont even want to think about the Partagas 150's but that was then & this is now, so what the wife sees is what I want her to see, the rest are at the locker at the shop. plain & simple ! Enjoy, Vince

Right, I remember when Vince had 11,000. I think DocBarry has around 2-3,000, but he considers his collection small. And I'm sure as a doctor he knows a few people with the large collections.

Well, wait a minute, of course he does, he's friends with Carlito, Cano Ozgener, etc., etc., . . .

my head hurts. I'll be around but I may not be able to post for a while. I'm going blond(e). :sm_angel: :sm_angel: :sm_angel:

CC, I just googled those Bolivar Gold Medals....holy toledo!!
You, sir, are a man of exquisite taste and knowledge!

Can't you get them when she's not home and mix them in with the rest? Does she really keep that close of an eye on your stash?

Keeps an eye?? Heck, CC's wife SMOKES most of it!!!

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:   :cryinlaugh: :flush:

PURSES AND SHOES????

Purses and shoes? If she starts smoking them or using them for target practice, she can have more purses and shoes. Until then, she can just keep looking at the ads.

This is how I do it, and also how I was able to build a walk-in humidor in the house:

Louis Vuitton, Coach, Prada, and Coach. Oh, I forgot to mention Coach. Just buy her a purse and it WILL BE FINE!!!!! You have to remember to spend 1/4 of your total purchases of cigars on something for her. Just my .02, but I know how it works!!!
Sounds all too familiar. My list is Louis Vuitton, Louis Vuitton, and Louis Vuitton. Oh, and did I mention Louis Vuitton? My wife grew out of the Coach fad. Whenever we argue about my cigar purchases, I remind her how much her 1 LV purse cost, and then ask how often she uses it. That pretty much ends the conversation.

My wife doesn't give me too much grief....as long as I keep things under control....

I can see im already in for it my girlfriend is the same way always nagging about how much i spend on cigars and stuff. But then she is going out and buying a $500 new cell phone so i just bring that up now and it ends it.

My wife is great she lets me usually spend what I want on things. I have been building up my black smith/welding shop and it is mostly a timing thing for purchasing things. Cigars have not been an issue, but I also didn't tell her about the the Christmas special. Most of the time I am very honest with my wife as I don't like keeping things from her.

As to shoes she will buy all these cheap shoes and then say they are not comfortable. I told her to buy more expensive shoes that fit well. I also have to remind her to spend money on herself. Of course I would not be able to spend $455 for 10 cigars.

My wife has no idea what I spend on cigars and she couldn't care less. As long as I never say no to her on a purchase for one of her hobbies, then things are cool.

My cabinet holds 6000 cigars and at present I have around 4000 in it.

I think The Master has it all figured out. Just give her whatever she wants, WHENEVER she wants it. Then you can pretty much do what you want.

Of course, you have to be able to AFFORD to give her whatever she wants, and whenever she wants it. Aye, there's the rub. :cryinlaugh:

Hey, Louis Vuitton handbags. Remember the woman who got a FEMA check for Katrina relief and spent $800 on one of those things? :eek:mg: :flush:

Bloof, you got that right, keep em happy and they never question you.

My wife does have some expensive hobbies though. She is an artist and knows how to spend like I do on cigars. She once bought a kiln to melt glass ( she does stained glass work) that was 2400.00. She also does ceramics, ( her potters wheel was a grand). She rents space at this artist colony for 220.00 a month. She's always buying glazes and clay, she used to be always buying glass. You should see here stained glass inventory, similar to my cigar collection. The best part is she is always selling her work, so she keeps the money and I still pay all of the costs. What a country. lololol
