New to this forum I just registered after looking through the fine selection of cigars all over the place.

Anyway My name is Mike im 20, and live in MA outside of boston. Ive enjoyed cigars since highschool my friend and his Mafioso family got me into the world of stogies. Anyway im looking to pick up some quality cigars but not pay hundreds for a box. Over the years i have enjoyed Montecristo, macanudo, and other brands of cigars. I found this "Cigar.com Cigar Jar Gift Set" http://www.cigar.com/gifts/default.asp? ... d=samplers on the site. Looks good comes with a jar humidor, a cutter, and lighter. They really dont specify what 20 cigars go into this package. Aside from this i whould apreciate some info on what you guys usually toke on. Im looking for a nice cigar to play golf over, have a good chat with buddies over some nice VSOP. Somthing taisty that will last a while.

Thanks guys,
-Mike

Clean Robusto or Root by Drew Estate (Natural line.) Just had a Clean Robusto today, holy crap that was good.

I'd recommend the Montecristo #3. I've also just received a box of
Cusano C10 (amazing cigar!), they're on offer at the moment and are an absolute bargain here at cigar.com.

Enjoy!

Good Golf Course Cigars.....\

I tend to smoke cheaper on the golf course, if I even smoke on the course because I tend to concentrate more (try to anyway) on the game. But I Always tend to have one from my lips....

I'd go with Flor de Oliva, the Honduran Primeros are great because they are inexpensive and won't hurt too much if they break....

Can't go wrong with C10 or Cusano products, soild smokes that can be handled pretty rough and still smoke well.....

The jar seems to be filled with private label cigars. I like the cigar.com private labels. My vote however, for what you are looking for rests with the Sol Cubano Connecticut.

Any recommendations on some nice churchill cigars. Im a huge fan of this size, to me the perfect size. Nice long cigar to smoke over a nice brandy.

Yea when I golf, if I'm smoking a cigar my game goes downhill it's a sensory overload. I usually smoke flor de olvias or cigar.com churchills on the course. Good smoke, lasts long, good price.

i second flor de oliva, and add la vieja habana celebration natural. It is 7x52 and will last you 9 holes or more. I keep 5 or so on hand in my humidor. You can find them for $2.25 to $3.25 a stick.
