Moving Back to Cali Contest!!!!!

My reasoning for my guess - Well once you leave Scottsdale you will have to stop by Cigar King for one last smoke. Already you are now an hour behind. Next you will have to gas up in Palm Springs; as we know, you cannot pass up Fame Tobacconist with their awesome prices. I say spend 2 hours there. Last, you MUST stop at Morango for a few hands of poker. Now that you have spent 4 1/2 hours off the road, the rest will play itself out.. good luck and have a safe drive.

By the way, I really recommend you follow my driving instructions above..

Good one Buddy!!

only 3 more days them i'm back in cali!!!!!

a lot of ppl only have 1 guess remeber you can have 2 guess's

7 hours 17 minutes

I just calculated how long it would take me to drive that, and doubled it.

I know your probably joking,
and i think that 7 - 8 hours is a very probably guess

but this is a big pet peeve of mine.

That would meen that you average 110mph. i know for a fact that it is completely impossible to travel that whole distance averaging that speed, no matter what time of day you left, you would run into spots that you could not go that fast, even if you didn't have to stop for a single thing, you would run into traffic somewhere.

again i'm sure yuou were joking w/ that statment, but i had a guy tell me that he drove from Phoenix to blythe in 45 minutes. and you have no idea how much self control it took for me not to flip my lid and agrue about it. completely imossible. thats like 160 miles in 45 minutes. No production car can hold that kind of speed over that distance. sorry to kinda go off there. The fastest i've ever done it in was 5 hours and 30 minutes, and i go 90-100 If i can and trust me i have done it at all diffrent times of the day.

anyways good guess

Yeah, I was joking. I learned how to drive in Houston, and when I lived there it wouldn't have been that much of a stretch :)

But, here in Austin, you're lucky if you can average 40 mph on the freeways. Brilliant city council deliberately refused to plan for growth, believing that if you don't plan for it, it won't happen.

Geniuses...

lol

thats LA for you too. Now they come up w/ these "brilliant" Idea's to make a mass transit system that fails miserable. Nice to know that my tax dollars are going down the toilet. Take all the mass transit money and put it into the school system then maybe the next generation wont make those mistakes
