Armpit of the world....Al Asad, Iraq
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that my buddy, Greg, got the cigars!
Actually, he got them almost a week ago. I found out from his wife, so I e-mailed him and gave him an ass chewing! Here's his response:

"Hey there you new parents,

About the cigars, I sent you a letter, which is more thoughtful than an email. But, yeah, thanks a million. They are EXTREMELY appreciated. I can't believe there were so many! You and your friends are too thoughtful. You're going to give me lung cancer. (I'll let you know when I need more! HAHA) Thanks.

I saw the website for Morgan. She is cute. I hear they grow pretty fast the first couple of years. I don't know. Anyway, I'm happy for you guys.
These last two days have been rather rough. Between 24hrs in the FDC, convoys and rehersals, I'm beat. And to make things better, I'll be down in the hole (FDC) for the next six days. I'll explain later. Good times are here again.

Well, I better go. You must be tired by now of the craziness. Get some rest, if you can.
And Happy Birthday, Marine.

Leather,
Greg"

Aahh, the life of a Marine.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you.
As soon as he send me some more pics I'll post them immediately.

Again, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that donated. It means the world to me.

Semper Fi,
Jeff

Any time Jeff - always glad to help out our fine men and women overseas. You'll have to keep us posted next time he needs more cigars.

And get him to email you a picture or two of him kicking back and smoking them!

Semper Fi to you and your buddy on this Veteran's Day. Just remember to tell him that lung cancer is not a worry from cigar smoking, unless he's going to do it the "Marine" way and actually try to inhale. Also tell him that smoking as many as two to three Churchill sized cigars a DAY has only proven to slightly increase the risks associated with cigar smoking, i.e., mouth, lip, throat cancers etc. Unless he's about to embark on a 15-20 Churchill sized cigar program a week, he's got nothing to worry about, but trying to enjoy himself in between avoiding getting killed and covering his brothers' backs.

Here's to Sgt. DevilDog, his buddy in Iraq, and ALL veterans past, present and future.

OO-RAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
