Regardless of price, favorite cigar?

I haven't had the Short Story, Cusano 18 paired Maduro ( all the conneticut rocked ) nor anything from 5 Vegas. However, all three of these are on top of my next to try list.

I always like to know what your very favorite smoke is. Then after I smoke it will give me a good idea of the vast array of flavors that each palate enjoys.

I am currently in love with the REO by Rocky Patel. I love the flavor on that puppy. I've also been enjoying the Monte whites lately. Those are probably my two favorite as of now, though that changes from week to week

Coyolar H-bomb
Hey speaking of the H bomb, tell your brother he owes me one hahaha !, but back to the subject, my all time smoke for every day would be the Maduro Bahia Torp. not the gold maduro, just the plain old base unit maduro, from Costa Rico , the newer ones are not as rich as the orginals, IMHO.
For an early morning smoke I like the Nicaro Minuto , a nice 5 x 42 corona that is just right for the morning drive , I was smoking the Don Carlos #3 for many years as my morning smoke , but at $7.25 retail VS $4.00 retail, I go with the Nicaro, OH but wait the subject is not taking PRICE into concideration, Hummm, well lets start of the day with a Cohiba Lancero, with espresso after breakfast, a Monte #2 after lunch , Punch Punch before supper, & a Partagas serie D number 4 ( & after checking the Humi I still have ONE left ) with a snifter of single malt after supper , & all the cigars would be from that Island south of Fla. run by Castro & his friends , are there cigars as good as the ones from Cuba, Sure , but it is the "Forbidden Fruit" syndrome, that makes them so desirable.

well it is time for more coffee & a cigar , dont know what I will have , maybe a nice Lampira Toro or a Mambacho , I feel the need for POWER & either or Both will do the job.

Friday night , the Qtr.Deck will be open for fun & games , single malt, coffee & cigars, bring your own BEER, I dont drink beer any more, so I dont furnish it, how ever the cigars & coffee along with the single malt will be here & ready to go , any time Friday evening after 6:30 PM .

Enjoy, Vince

Hey Vince! As usual, always over the top! Where were you for Steve's bash, we missed you! Cigars out the a$$! We were gonna smoke the Liberty's! Let's get together for that! Me and the Brother's will have to invade the Qdeck. Not this Friday, going to Starlake for Skynard show.
I've got some of the New Corojo Legend-airo's, Pretty Peppery smoke!
Get hold of Steve and we'll get it figured out.

I was invited to the bash but just didnt have the time to stop, , we were putting my mother in law in a nursing home & had to clean out her apt. , the boss didnt allow me any time off ! , there are a few BIG things going on at Slippery Rock Cigars & on Aug.12 there will be a few guys headed to the Montecristo club at PNC park , call Tom Rojahan at the ticket office, 1-800-BY Bucs, or is it by Bucks? , one is a dial a porn, & the other is the Pittsburgh Pirates ticket office, hahahah, nornal ticket price for the monte club is 70 bucks a game, we have a special for the Burgh herfers @59.50 I think, , yea thats a lot for a ball game but it includes the buffette, drink & cigar, along with a live Blues show after the game , a very limited number of tickets are available , when you get Tom on the phone tell him it is for the Blowen Smoke pod cast with Rob Heming, thats the only way to get the cheep price for this game .

What are you guys doing Sunday Afternoon? I will be smoking a fine cigar sipping a 16 YO Laguavulin single malt & drinking some Kona Coffee & listening to some Jazz, if your free stop out, bring the kids we can give them a cigar also hahahaha ! Enjoy, Vince

I havent had a bad Camacho yet, I enjoyed the Select last night, & have a SLR for tonight , BUT the little shapped Coyolor , is a REAL @$$ kicker, the H BOMB ! if you ever get the catalog from Cigars International, they have a series called Legends, the white lable is made by Camacho & is my favorite legend just a hair ahead of the Rocky Patel Legend( orange) & the Prodomo Legend (red & the only Torp.) the rest are all good BUT I dont care for the copper lable, made by Drew Estates, of Acid fame , just to sweet for my taste buds.
Enjoy, Vince

i have the catalog right in front of me.

ill have to check that out. thanks for the heads up

KUZI, your just up the road in Akron, about an hour & a half ftom here , we should get together for a smoke some time, here or there or some place in between ! Enjoy, Vince

I have to pick 2 cigars, Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Bacelona and the Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro Toro. Both inexpensive, but both cigars that I would be happy if they were the only cigars in my humidor. Paul

agreed.

My schedual is hit or miss

sooner or later ill figure something out.

Wow, this list would be expansive to list all....here's a subset:
Rockey patel vintage 92 - around 5
Siglo V - 15 +
Choix supreme - less the 3
Gurkha Titan - around 12 I think
Gurkha Legend - Price varies max 12 cheapest 5
La Gloria Cubana Series R Maduro #4 - less then 5
Opus X - run the gammit not cheap! LOL
Fuentes Anejo Shark - 12?
Cusano C18 - 3
Comancho diploma - 8
CAO Black Gothic - 8
CAO Man O War - 11

Hope that helps!

Eclipse, damn my friend , you are getting some low prices on those smokes. Your running on average about $3-4 less than what I am paying in Michigan.

As of this moment my favorite is the RP Edge Corojo missile and thats regardless of price, the ERDM Choix is a close second.

I agree with what Barcochris mentioned about people going overboard concerning price, Bildo also started a good thread about prices and OpusX, like I have mentioned before, having smoked cigars that ranged from $3 to $25 my favorite was an ERDM I got from rmrdaddy in a PIF. $5 retail in my part of country and more enjoyable than a certain "superpremium" that I smoked the same weekend.

Can I hook a brother up or what???

Cloudy, one thing I may have failed to mention, that El Rey probably had 3-4 yrs of age on it in my humi.....(opps!)

I wondered about that but it does not matter anyways, the entire El Rey line no matter the age are enjoyable to me. The big thing is that I had not discovered that line of cigars and after that weekend I did some serious product research.

Another couple smokes I would add to this list:

Fuente Sungrown and Rocky Patel Sungrown 8)

Big surprise, Hemingway SS are on my list
I love the Bolivar Royal coronas, PSP2 and PSD4. The Camacho Coyolar perfectos are wonderful little smokes. And, I'd never turn down an Opus. Gurkha Centurian and Perdomo La Tradicion Champagne are other favs.

I like some cheapies like the fuente brevas and JM's.

My favorites Are Rocky Patel Sungrowns, Cusano 18's (Both Maduro and Conneticut.) And Oliva Series V. I never had an Opus, or a God of Fire. And even when I found the Opus X I couldn't bring myself to spend the $30 for one. I'm a little under funded to do that.

Oh, I forgot. Hatchet man sent me some Indian Tabacs and they rocked. None of the stores by me carry them so I'll have to order some soon when my wife isn't looking.
