The hills and the hollers
I know there is a mix of opinions about Rocky Patel.
Personally, I like the majority of his line. One smoke I can’t seem to get hold of is the RP Decade. I searched the forum and can not find where anyone has posted anything about it.
Has anyone tried this stick?
Does anyone know where to find this stick?
I have looked at cigar bid, Cigar.com, and CI.com (the 3 places I shop other than my B&M, which does not carry them either.)
If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know.

Hey Tim, When did y'all start carring the Decade?

When did we start carrying Decade?

Lol, when did Rocky release them?

We've had a few boxes since the first release, but due to an agreement we made with Rocky, we can't advertise on our 'site'.

Look, bottomline Decade is a great cigar. However, imho there are a ton of great cigars out there right now. His RP Signature and Signature 500 are both amazing blends just to name two.

Luckly, I was able to get one in a PIF, and am looking forward to trying it. Thanks Scott!

Honestly, this cigar didn't do a whole lot for me. IMO, the Indian Tabac 10th Anniversary was a better smoke. Cheaper, too. I would like to hear your opinion if you try it, however. I may be wrong. It has happened before.

Ok I got one of these in a PIF from biggeek69 (thanks Scott) and let it sit in the humi for about 2 weeks before I tried it out.
The cigar (box pressed) was beautiful and flawless as are most of the RP sticks. When I lit it up I was surprised that it had a very smooth draw and was full of thick smoke and the burn was flawless ( I only had to relight once and only because I got into a heated argument over the Vandy vs. Bama game). The burn and draw remained constant through the 2 hours I smoked it, but unfortunately so did the rather bland taste. The only flavor I could pick up was a hint of leather and some nuttiness. Unlike reviews I have read on the Decade, I felt that it was a medium bodied cigar.

Of course this review is just my opinion, but it should also be yours. 8)
