Well the 5 hour time change is taking some adjustment. It reminds me of my tirp to Australia/ New Zealand a few years back.
The flight was okay and upon arriving I found myself catching up with family. Oh I had to make my first order of business a trip to the liquor store for some coffee, murphy's irish stout tall boys, corona, and a nice big bottle of Macallan 12.
Sunday morning I woke up at 130 AM to catch a van to up to the top of the Volcano here on Maui to watch the sun rise and ride a bike back down to the bottom (10000 ft to sea level in 30 miles, wow) I broke out an opus robusto for my first cigar of the trip to watch the spectacular view but was notified that it is illegal to smoke a cigar in a national park. :shame: Not sure if the ranger was telling the truth but I had to put it out halfway through. The sunrise was well worth the early morning wakeup and I took a nap when I got home this afternoon.
Tonight I spent with my cousin who is just getting into cigar smoking. It is great getting his feet wet but he likes the strong stuff so I broke out a few diplomas over a cup off coffee while we saw the sunset. The night took off from there with my uncle and friends. I brought a few extra smokes so everyone enjoyed. I personally finished my night with several glasses of scotch, a diploma, Davidoff Millenium, and Cusano C10.
Tomorrow morning I am going to hang by the pool and just relax. I am thinking a short story, coffee, and morning paper will be in order when I get up
