I read a bit of King James in High School (Lit. class.) What's the difference?

I got the only thing that mattered:
Sirius Starmate replay satelite radio player. Its sweeeeet.

Other stuff too:

-Clothes that do not fit and are ugly as sin from my mom (I Love her but, she cannot buy clothes to save her life. Everything has to be on sale, otherwise it is not a good buy). She did get me the sirius radio (after much proding from my wife) so that doesn't matter.

-Clothes from my wife and mother in law
-Family Guy Season 4 DVD from my wife, but on my discover card
-Some crate and barrell wine glasses from my co-worker and a bottle of wine (she rocks).
-a bottle of 2001 Jordan Cab Sav (to add to my collecion) from my sister in law
-other misc items

By the way, Sirius rocks.

You guys got some good stuff. I love how USMC6672 changed his avatar. That's what being 3-11 going into the last two games of the season will do to a die-hard Jets fan.

:cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh:

Sorry buddy, I just had to. You know I'm your friend.

:eek:mg: :bolt:

Rory, that zippo's classic. As someone who's been hearing about how communism is really the answer for the past 40 years, I love it.

Oh, by the way USMC6672, about that new Jets fleece, you sure you don't want to edit that out of your post, or just fake it and change it to Bears?

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :cryinlaugh: :cryinlaugh: :flush:

Bloof,
the old computer has been down since Monday, and just got back online today! We fought hard all year, but it is almost Spring Training!

I wear the Jets fleece in pride for Testaverdes' TD pass on Monday night to make it a TD pass in 19 seasons.

Funny how the score was the same as it was 36 years ago!

LEt's go Yankees!

King James is like the old English style. NIV stands for New International Version, and its written in modern "American"(not a real language, but more familiar than current English), and is loaded with scripture references, study notes, etc...
There are a couple more difference translations out there such as New Living Translation, the Catholic Translation(not real, but the Catholics have their own version of the Bible), the Mormon Translation(same deal as the Catholics, cept the Mormon version has a lot of stuff removed and added from/to the original translation). There are more, but I cannot remember them off the top of my head.

i think the mormon bible just has a few books here and there taken out and then they have the book of mormon which was written by a con artist.

lol, yeah pretty much. Its funny how they ignore the last couple of passages in Revelation, about adding to or removing from the text of the Bible. lol
