What Did You Smoke Today

Yesterday was a fantastic day, I started with a nice Ghurka Maduro that was gifted to me, and then finished afternoon with a Padron Londres. An excellent way to spend a fall afternoon.

Smoked a Cuban Real Semilla last night and this morning. Very good smoke. I could see this being a go to cigar.

Not much lately; had a bunch of cigars on the cruise I went on last week. Had an 07 and 05 PLPC; both were outstanding. Had and 05 Monte EL; wow what a stick; lasted nearly 3 hours. Had an RP 1990 torpedo; good smoke; but nothing to write home about. I bought a 5 pack of Monte Puritos; fun quick smoke, but they go out to easily; the Partagas Chicos are much better. Also had a dog rocket of a house blend from a local tobacco shop; Bleeckh! man did that suck.

Hey Phish - I was just gifted a that Monte EL the other day - I am dying to light that sucker up!!!! 3 hours - I guess I am going to set aside a lot of time.

Just smoked a Gurkah Centurion with about 4 years on it. Good smoke! Enjoyed Lagavolin with it...God I could drink that stuff instead of water!

This afternoon I smoked a Titan with four years. Not bad. I wouldn't have smoked it but I remembered your post and thought I would give it a try.

Friday I smoked 2 of the big Gran Habano's (dont know what color label I bought them from C.com as seconds I think) while fishing

Friday Night I smoked a RASCC.

Saturday Night I smoked a Cohiba 40th Anniversary. GREAT smoke!!!

Fall has arrived to Central Texas. Lows in the upper 40's and highs in the upper 70's. Smoking season has arrived for me. I'll burn on average two a week. Really, really looking forward to it!

Smoked a Tatuaje Havana VI yesterday while digging holes for the Chili Open in 2 months. I really enjoyed it - nice flavors, consistent throughout. Have about 5 left from the 10 I purchased to share with the other diggers. Curious to see how they will be in the spring when golf season hopefully starts again!

I smoked a Oliva Series V for my brunch smoke and am getting ready to light up a MonteCristo #2. One of my favorite cigars of all time.

I smoked a Cohiba Puro Dominicana Robusto a couple of days ago. The first one I picked was very loose, canoed horribly and I couldn't keep it lit to save my life. I fought with it for a little bit then just decided to let it die and get another one because I really wanted to try this cigar. The second one burned much better, maybe the draw was a little tighter than I like, but I did smoke it down to about 3" or so. I had to let it die because I was starting to get nauseous and light headed! A glass of soda and sitting for a bit cured that though. I haven't been smoking cigars very long, but that's the first time that has happened to me. I have 3 more of those left too!

Today I finally managed to get back outside and smoked a very nice Bahia that was gifted to me. It had a good draw and LOTS of flavor - a fine smoke for an Autumn afternoon.

Over the weekend I had a 06' Cuaba Distinguidos that some mook gave me and a R&J Churchill

On Saturday afternoon I smoked a La Gloria Cubana Waval. As usual it was a great smoke. This one had a little age on it. I need to pick up some more. I think I only have two or three left.
