With the 2005/2006 "Season" Disappearing . . .

OHHHHHH, so your "walk-out price" was actually $11.76. That's what I was trying to get at, what you really paid for it. When you said 11 flat that blew me away. $11.76 still blows me away. That hurts. $4.11 less than what I paid. I have to see if they have it in NYC at any of my favorite liquor stores. They usually don't, which is why I bought it on line, but if I can find it for $10.99 in a NYC liquor store, it'll only cost me a "walk-out price" of $11.91.

And the rest sounds great.   And speaking of Three Star, it is unfortunately, getting hard to find.

Yep - definitely harder to find. That's why I'm holding onto the half of a bottle I have left. But now that I've got EW 1783, I can be more frugal with the Three Star.

Yeah, if you can drink bourbon in warm weather. I just can't. I've already got a left over supply of rum and some Bombay Sapphire gin left from last year to kick off the 80's and 90's when they get here, though. I also have a bottle of Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 year old that someone recommended I give a shot, if I get into sipping rum this summer. Got it at Binny's last year, not opened yet, paid a dirt cheap price for it. Supposedly one of the great sipping rums. I'm going to try more rum sipping and a few less Girly Man drinks this summer. :sm_angel:

I can drink anything, anytime - just not in the quantities I used to!

Mmm - Bombay Sapphire - one of my favorites. Though, as I said somewhere else, I just got a bottle of Hendricks gin and it's good enough (for me at least) that I enjoy just over ice.

Awesome! My cousin had a bottle of that last year and I got to try it when I paid him a visit. Very good rum if I remember correctly! I'm looking for a sale on it somewhere because it's too expensive for me right now.

See if Binny's is still showing it. Everybody has it, but they had a crazy good price on it last year. Check all those sites I gave you. As for Bombay Sapphire, I use it make the ultimate thirst quencher/headbanger, the Bombagina. For each shot (1.5 oz.) of Bombay Sapphire, I take 4.5-6 oz. of Orangina, add a couple or three large rocks and BAM!!!

Be careful. One summer I drank four of those in a very short time, while finishing up a yard work session. I usually make mine with two shots of the 94 proof gin and about 9-12 oz. of Orangina. It's such a great thirst quencher, and still tastes mostly like Orangina, that the Bombay Sapphire gets lost, because it's such a mild tasting gin!!!

Oh, it quenches your thirst alright. And you'll love it every minute while laying on your couch unable to get up for three or four hours.

Well Bloffy just take some of that good cheep Bourbon and mix it with lots of ice and some limeade/lemonade. Instant summertime drink. As you, I do like my summertime gin drinks.
