Suggestions appreciated

I drink strictly beer, and its extended family, Rye, Bourbon, or Sour Mash, when forced by protocol, a light wine. I indulge in no other adult beverage.
As I entertain various friends and relatives, I am blissfully ignorant of other liquors. I am looking for suggestions for things such as tequila, vodka, rums, etc. Most friends are not shy, and ring the door bell with their elbow, but I like to have things on hand.
Seeing as school paste has roughly the same intelect as I when it comes to these spirits, I implore, nay beeseech upon you fine folk here to guide me.
So, if you will, throw me some ideas to try. Thank you, and stay tuned, our regularly scheduled program will be shown in its entirety.

Gotta hit the showers, track and field is coming on, but here goes:

Rum - newly discovery Hallmark Demerara 25 year old Guyana rum. Go to binnys.com. Goes well straight up, on the rocks or with sweet fruits and juices. Don't try citrus on this baby.

Ron Del Barrilito 3 Star - Great on the rocks with 3 parts grapefruit juice and .7 parts lime juice mixed in

Myers - great egg nog. Never had it any other way.

Anything by Appleton is good, too. Forget which one I used to make egg nog with.

For gin try Bombay Sapphire 94 proof. I'm limited in rums and gins, but you can't go wrong with the above.

Excellent, sir, thank you. After band practice tonight, I shall shop.

I see I am a little late as usual, but I thought I would throw my $.02 in.

Gin - I agree with Bloof on this one....Bombay Sapphire is my gin of choice.

Vodka - I used to drink Stoli all the time but have come to enjoy Grey Goose.

Te-kill-ya - Had a VERY VERY VERY bad experience with tequila. It involved drinking "prairie fires" and chasing them with Cave Creek Chili beer, so I avoid it at all costs.

Other stuff that I have on hand when entertaining:

Disarrono Amaretto - comes in handy when doing "Dr. Peppers" and a good amaretto sour isn't to bad once in a while.

Rumpleminze - works better than Vicks Vapo-Rub

Goldschlager - kinda like a liquid version of Big Red chewing gum

Bailey's - for the wife and the occasional cement mixer

Gekkeikan Plum wine

a couple good single malts...I could go on but the point is variety is the spice of life. Your missing some great stuff if all you drink is beer and whiskey.
