A sad day

My Mom lost her battle with cancer Tuesday morning. She was diagnosed in Jan. 03 and was told that she had about six months to live. She fought with all she had and turned that six months into three-and-a-half years, and I am thankful for every extra day she was with us. My sister and I were with her when she died (at home) under 24 hour hospice care. It is a very sad time in our life but we will get through it. I'm not trying to bum everyone out but I just needed to talk (or write) about it a little bit.

Thanks for listening,
Brad

Fair winds and following seas.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Brad.

Take care of yourself and your family.

You're in our prayers.

I know I'm new here, but I think it's safe to say that you have nothing to apologize for wanting to talk it out and get a little support. My friend went through the same thing a few years ago and talking about it really helped him out.

Stay strong and stay safe.

Prayers to you and your loved ones.

Sorry to hear of your Loss!
