I have a feeling this subject is open to much interpretation. I'm not sure that you've EVER been a bad friend to anybody. Did you molest somebody's child, steal a precious family heirloom, yell at somebody's 98 year old mother for breathing? True friends return to one another. Time will tell.

No nothing as simple as that!!! I sent some one who will remain nameless an E mail, (BTW you did get a copy also ) well the person was offended , & asked me to drop him from my emil list , so I figured I should say I was sorry for getting on his $hit list. I sent him a personal note of apology & thought I should post it as well, I didnt mean anything personal with the email, I just pass on the funny ones all the time as well you know, but it was a burrr under his blanket & I am sorry for offending him. plain & simple .

Maybe is was his "time of the month" and he just lashed out without thinking about who he was lashing out at. We all know that you are just a not so large, large Teddy Bear with a heart bigger than what your waist size was. I am sure he will get over it shortly.

One of the biggest problems with the written medium is that it is so hard to pick up the nuances of speech... such as telling if someone is joking... or knowing the intent of the speaker by their tone/inflections/non-verbal cues.
Bloofie can tell you that I am known and prone to be sensitive to the usage of the slang term for a Jewish person. Depending upon it's usage, it can be taken to be an insult and down to the level of how African American's view the dreaded "N" word. At one time I would forward on massive amounts of jokes and post alot here on Amback, but I have backed off because of the sensitivities of some people. As a staff member, I have to be much more cognizant of my actions and how they can be taken/perceived.
I find it admirable that you came on here and apologized and it is my hope that the person you have offended accepts your apology and you are able to move past it.

I think all is well between us now, I have stopped sending political jokes to him or her as the case might be , I dont care if the joke is about clinton or bush I laugh at it , some just dont get the joke when you pick on there party, I dont give a rats @$$ whos ox I gore if its funny well its just funny !

Personally I love jokes of all kinds --- saw a cute t-shirt last week ---- it had a picture of Hitler-y with a red circle and a slash across her face ----

Currently there is not one single candidtate that I could cast a vote for due to serious issues with each of them. I am talking from both parties and the purported Independent from NYC.

The situation with the "Presidential candidates" is our own fault. If the voting public would take a little time to study and learn about who the candidates are, who they have taken money from, what they believe in and so on and so forth. We wouldn't have to pick from the sort of people we have now. For some reason people with substance get pushed out of the way for the "Packaged" candidates. The prettier the package the better the chance for election. Do you want a life long politician (Senator or Congressman) or somebody that jumps out of the hills of Arkansas or Texas with little or no international experence but is "packaged" very well. We got just what we deserved with both of those guys. Lets look at one of this boards favorites, Hillery. It seems that her two biggest problems are that SHE is a women and her last name is Clinton. Is that any way to pick or not pick a candidate.

No it is not a way to pick a canidate, but she will be a lot of fun to laugh at be it a winner or a looser, she is good for a laugh , as well as Obama, John Edwards, Mayor Bloomburg ( if he runs ) Sen.MaCain or Fred Thompson, where are the Citizen PATRIOTS who serve the country not them selves or the special intrest groups that stuff there pockets with cash, but the hard working citizen who wants to make a difference, serve the country a few years & then GO back to work, NO GOVERNMENT pentions for Elected offices , I know the rank & file government workers need a retirement plan, just like industry, but the elected offices should never pay as much as they are getting, when the first Politition found out he could give him self a pay raise at the expence of the taxpayers , the system was LOST.

Look back at her history and you will see what kind of a person she is. She is anti gun, anti military, anti establishment -- and has always been very self serving -- especially when it comes to matters of the monetary sort. Can we say -- Rose Law Firm, Cattle Futures, the Health Care Initiative, or any other of the things she has been investigated over.
The worst part is that they (both her and her scumbag of a husband) have always had a teflon coating when it comes to alot of the stuff that has been dug up on them. Of course it always helps when quite a few of the accusers or knowledgable people involved have the habit of turning up DEAD!
