Bahamas Sit Down anyone?

Being the sensitive, considerate, loving husband I am :wink: , I have been thinking of a nice fall getaway-type vacation that Tiny Woman and I can take since both our kids will be in college this fall. I've been checking into various things to do, and have settled on a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas in late October. The boat leaves on October 23rd, Connie's birthday, and returns after 4 nights on October 28th. I'd love to have any and all of you freaks join us, so if you're interested here's the link to the cruise info:

For those of you keeping score, YES, this is the weekend after the next SC Sit Down!!!

We leave from Port Canaveral, Florida. On the way home, after the cruise, we'll stop off in St. Augustine for a day or two.

Tim....I am seriously considering it....my GF wanted to take me on a cruise this year......since we've never been on one! I will tell her this is the one!! I've left a message with her...and I will let you know!


Chances are, I will be joining you!!!!

Tim....MY GF is in Grad school...getting her masters in occupational therapy....She doesn't have a break until November!!

So We're going to go, but not until November!!! Damn it...that would have been fun... :cry:
 
I just went on a Bahaman cruise 2 summers ago and I'll be in school during the time so I'm going to sit this one out. Have fun when you're there! Smoke a cigar for me :D
 
Damn Tim..That souns like a perfect plan, but the wife and I just got back from the honeymoon cruise to the bahamas in april.
Are you going to Jamaica? If so, there is a store in the port trminal that is selling boxes of Monte #2 and Cohiba sig's for 165.00!! Legit as well, checked the bands...I picked up a box of Monte #2's while I was there. The terminal is the Montego Bay terminal though, so, I don't know if your cruise goes through there of Ocho Rios.

Not sure how to say this nicely :oops:
M2 - $165 = Fakes no matter how good the bads are!What does "Cohiba Sig's" stand for?? Siglo - Maybe if they are Siglo I
still $10 less than I ahve seen them for - but Jamaca makes great bands! Not much else!

If you want me to look at them let me know :?:
 
get out the old black light, but i have to agree at that price. unless its the 15ct box. The 25 ct box is $231

If they are real I'll gladly replace them with some other smokes
of equal value!
If there fakes well you'll know better.
Personally I believe teh only way to be 100%
sure is to have the palate and know true Habanos flaver when you smoke one.
People can use a real box & bands and then sell the fakes.
 
Well CC, I wouldn't be aposed to having you look them over, this is my 5th box of Monte #2's over the years so, I have had one before. Granted the prce is great, but I have seen them at a few places for just a few bucks higher then that. Habanos was selling a 25 count box in Cozumel for 185.00. Either way, sounds like fun to me! If they are fakes, they are damn good fakes! :lol:
 
Just so the guys that I sent Monte's to know, you guys got the last of my other box. The 6 I sent between the box pass and bildo/axegod trades were from the old box, as well as the one i burned on Tuesday. Just wanted to let you guys know, now that there seems to be some doubt in the authenticity of the newest box of Monte's I have. Just wanted to set the board straight!! :D :D
 
obviously your intent was right on - no matter the out-come.
So for that you get a (A+) in my book.

Lets take the time to find out.
Also I am not saying these are fakes - you never know?
Just saying the fact that came from Jammytown and the price sends up a red flag. But lets wait and see.

Also I have seen many fakes bought in Cuba - made from real Cuban lefa that were very good - just not Habanos SA product.
BUT if you like them - I don't care where they came from.
A good smoke is a good smoke1
I don't have any M2 right now or I'd send you one for a comparison.
I had 2 left and gifted them away.
I'll dig around - might have some somewhere?
 
the new Monte #2's I have my suspicions on now....I haven't dove into the box yet, and I feel like a total bum for accepting the seal on the box, but they were intact so, I was on vacation!!! LOL....Be gentle CC.
