I agree. I've found it to take up to a week or two to season a new humi.
 
Hmm, thats actually higher than I like it. Different strokes...

I don't think many people on the forum try for higher than that. At least not more than one or two % higher.

Yea its a little higher than a like too, but I'm just saying its encouraging that it has been holding steady at something for a couple days rather than just sucking the beads dry and dropping the rh.

What do you guys think I should do? Just keep adding water to the beads until they can hold for a long enough period of time? Take everything out and let it sit? This morning the rh was still holding around 67-68 as it has been for a couple of days. If I hadn't conditioned it properly, wouldn't the humi be sucking that up pretty fast?

That is a typo. I wanted to say 60%. I try to keep my humis about 66-68%
