OKay!!! I have the party box! Good and bad news....Bad news, we had beetles!! I think it affected the Partagas Padre that was in the gold metal tube, but I'm still looking at the rest. The partagas was dust at the end, totally riddled with holes!!! I will post my takes and puts ASAP and then it's back to daddy.

Yep, Beetles, and I am not talking the mop tops from England, I'm talkin the litle white specks with big ass appetites for yummy tobacco!
Looked like the partagas was the only casualty, so, it could have been much worse. I would recommend a quick looking around of who's ever humi's that partagas came from. I'm sure the tubo kept the buggers contained, but I'd hate to see anyone get an infestation.

That sorta makes sense. The cigar was in a sealed tube, got warm, and the little buggers hatched! The only thing they had to do then was...EAT! I would think they were contained in the tube, but the thought of a great cigar being "eaten to death" is just sad! :x
Paul, that Partagas came from me, which I had purchased the day before I received the box. I bought 9 others, and have kept the caps on all of the tubes. I checked them this morning before I left, and they are all fine.
I'm with you on that one Tim!! I actually was going to take that smoke, but I discovered the damage when I pulled it out of the tube and was going to give it a good sniff.....So sad...Glad to hear you have others and they are fine!

i thought the beetles just ate their way out of the cigar just to escape, i didnt think they would keep eating it.
Alright, well I'm sorry for the delay, but we had a power issue at the house yesterday and I had to hang around the house for the power companies conveniant 8 hour window for service, so I was not able to get the box out. I will be shipping the box tomorrow, so, should see you by Monday or tuesday Bildo!

Ahhhhh Dammit!!!!!! Sorry, I had a bloof moment! This friggin week was really bad, I just wanted to make sure to get it on the road. There is a whole bag that is mine, had a bolivar(cuban),Mayorga torpedo, Oliva can't remember which one, and many more. Sorry for the Bloof moment, but that's the kinda week it's been.
