I can't say much.....

But to me, it is in the ranks as the Diploma and any other of my favorites and can't wait for the release....

I wish I could share more.....
 
i agree, can't wait till it gets here because there are a few sticks in there with my name on them. These box passes are too much fun.
 
I get home from a long drive from Northern California (Los Angeles traffic is a b*tch) and I find the box pass is underway! It's always good to come home.

I am new to all of this so baer with me.... What is a box pass? How does it work? I think i have an idea but i wouldn't mind some clarifacation, and to maybe get in on the next.

It's fairly simple:
Get involved in a box pass
Box is sent to the first person with a list of the others addresses and who is next on the list.
Take up to six sticks in this pass, replacing what you pick with a stick of the same "value" (IE - if it's a premo stick, replace with premo, ISOM try to replace with ISOM or premo, so on)
After your picks and puts are complete, forward the box onto the next person on the list. Do this all in a reasonable amount of time, everyone is waiting with much excitement, so, the longer the wait, the less fun!!

That pretty much sums it up! (Some consider it bad form to replace a Qban with a nonQban, regardless of value, of course you can always do it the other way around!) Personally, I am waiting for Castro to die...like a virgin waiting for wedding day.
 
Agreed Freedom on the Cuban to non cuban, but for someone new to the whole scene of trades and box passes, one may not have one to replace one, but may have a premo domestic.

In regards to castro, I agree with the speculation that if the embargo was lifted, the quality of the cigars would drastically diminish as well as the price would sky rocket. The old supply and demand thing maybe :?:
 
Oh ya, by the jihiggs, are these the kaluha smokes donated?

yes, i was goingt o throw them away, but if some one wants them, take them, they arent part of the pass.
 
Was cruising the archives today and found that...thought it was funny is all. My wife oohed and aaaa'd them when she saw them on the list. i quickly stated I wasn't going to waste a pick on them ( Even though I know they aren't apart of the pass). I think she bought it! Hope so since the box should be here today!!!

take them please, i dont want them back! at least take a wiff of them, they smell terific.
 
I'm sure they smell great too!! Need we mention other things that smell wonderful that I wouldn't want to smoke?!
