Chris, fwiw, i do not recall seeing a hemingway masterpiece or a VSG, im not able to get it out today so it is still at home and i will double check tonight on that before i send it out tomorrow
 
Seeing as there are just two people left on this pass I wanted to ask if we are still doing the reverse pass as well?

i think, but am not certain that this was turned into a perpetual box pass?
 
Interesting, so maybe a few years from now we can shift it to an all Cuban box pass? :lol:

By the way HighPSI, I did manage to get lunch and a cigar at Shellys when I was in D.C. Your a lucky guy having a place like that go and hang out at. Thanks for the tip.
 
oh yeah, meant to ask you about that, glad you got there and had a good time, pretty cool place....food is pretty decent too....they want 500/year for those humi lockers though, lol
 
I like the idea of having a perpetual box pass. Then, if someone drops out we can add a person. We can vote on it. Everybody say yay or nay.

Real good food...I had one hell of a sandwich. There was actually a guy sat a couple barstools away from me that paid his rent for the year on the locker and when I heard $500 I almost fell off my stool.

I'm a yay for the perpetual pass but I have one concern. Is it going to degrade any cigars that sit in that box with just the humi-pillows traveling the country for months at a time?

One other question: If I had to sit out a cycle for whatever reason would my substitute box receiver then be a permanent or "one and done" participant?
 
i think if if you have to sit out for one cycle, we could probably just skip to the next guy maybe?

...from what i understand, they're prices are so high on the humi lockers and obviously the sticks they sell, because in order to keep they're exemption from the smoking ban they have to be able to prove that 10% iirc of their sales is from tobacco- pretty tough since they sell food and alcohol too
 
Oh, oh, oh, I'm next in line. I'm also a yay in favor of the perpetual/reverse box pass idea. I just hope I can remember which sticks I put in so I don't take them when the box comes right back to me.
 
Another pass member made a good point about the cigars suffering a little bit if they're in a perpetual pass. So what I think we'll do is have one more go around to everybody, and then we'll end this pass. That way, somebody else can have the opportunity to start another pass later on. Is that okay with everyone?
 
I just recieved the box today when I got home from work. I haven't even opened the box yet but will do so as soon as I get off the computer. I will post my puts and takes a little later and if all is good, hopefully get the box out again tomorrow.
