I just got the new T******* Catalog today. I see there is a hell of a deal on those green and black Iguanna cigars. Any one want to split a box?? CA gave them a 97 and 98 rateing. Its a HELL of a deal. Let me know 8)

Jesse, I think those Iguanas are a T******* house brand. As such, I don't think CA would give them the time of day, let alone bother to rate them. I could be wrong, but you may have been misled by their crafty ad work.

Someone had 1 glass too many ports tonight.

Someone here tried the iguana's, and said it tasted like an iguana.

That may have been me. I thought they looked cool, and I split a box with a buddy of mine who thought likewise. He loved 'em, I gave him my half after trying one.

I realize to each his own, so you may (and probably will) have a better experience than me

97 or 98? Very rarely does any Cuban cigar get that rating, let alone a T cigar.

OK so I was really bored last night, and I may have had a few too many glass' of wine, and the postings have been a little slow. I was just kidding

Gary any time you want to split an Iguana, I'm in - provided he is roasted first!

You got it. Roasted with butter and garlic, with sides of twice baked potatos, and mango salsa. I wonder if I could cook the Iguanna on my Weber Grill?? BBQ Iguanna....mmmmmmmmm

Just about anything can be cooked if you have the right side dishes, let me know when its ready!

A little OT here but, I would say you need to marinate that sucker for at least a week. Then, dry rub with a spicy mix. Use Mesquite and cook it for quite a spell. For side dishes, a nice potato salad and coleslaw and lots and lots of Ice cold beer. IMHO

Escaped formerly domesticated iguanas have become quite a problem in FL. I bet you could hunt the suckers in the 'glades and the conservationists would praise you for it. Foodislife; you could open a super-gourmet iguana lounge restaurant on Alligator Alley! Or in Miami, to be closer to the big pocketbooks.

You could bring out these realy big plates with a small piece of Iguana, and some veges on the side. 20 bucks a plate should do it!

Funny story involving iguanas... In Port St. Lucie, FL I was driving across a bridge and had to swerve nearly into oncoming traffic to avoid a pack of 3 iguanas which were nonchalantly cruising across the road. Definitely one of the more ridiculous things I've seen. They were each around 3 feet long too. Scary.

Too funny...isn't it amazing, the tangents some of these posts take. Damn I love this forum

I'm guessing Iguanna is like a pork type meat. You know...the other, other, other white meat.

I don't know about that Gary, aren't Iguanas basically carnivores? They might not taste that good after all.

True, but big fish eat little fish and they taste good. Pigs eat anything. I dunno

But an Iguana will eat something that has rotted into a black goo... thats all you friend.

Iguanas are herbivores. They are very susceptable to disease and poor care. Probably the most hard to care for lizard. That is why I hate that pet stores sell them so nonchalontly for 19.99.
