Everyone --- here is a quick primer on the forum software and usage of it ---
If you post a simple web link, it will automatically make it clickable.
If the web address is REAL long, it is best to use BB code to make it look better in the forum --- for example -- I will use a short one, but make it a clickable link --
LINK --- note I places spaces and slashes above so it would show the actual code you put into the posting--- if done correctly it will post on the page as follows:
LINK <--clickable link
The software also has the ability to post images using bb code, but you have to be REAL careful that the image you are posting is 1) not from a copyrighted site! 2)not to large to be outside of forum policy (640x400 max, suggested size is 500x375) --- to do that you put the bb code of
[img=left] web address of picture [/ img] but do not put the spaces in. If the picture is from a copyrighted site, the only legal thing to do is post a link similar to above.
Please remember that you have to have BB Code enabled when trying to use it. If not, it will not work! You can either have it always enabled via your profile settings, or you can select it post by post by unclicking the box below where you post text into that says "Disable BBCode in this post"
