c.com cigars

I like to get a box and smoke one cigar every month or every other month, that way you can get a couple years out of a box and have a good understanding for how that particular size and brand smoked, over the course of a couple years. Plus taking notes along the way to see how it changed start to finish.

That sounds like fantastic advice. Unfortunately, on my current budget and humi size, there's only room for a limited number of cigars to rest over time. The bulk of my humi space needs to be available for stuff I'm gonna smoke in the near future.

After I ease the wife into the idea... and acquire my 500ct humi... then I can do things right like you say.

C.com Blue

C.com Cuban

These are the Best! For the money! (IMHO)

I think I will order some c.com cubans right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.) 'Tis better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.

2.) What I do, since I only have a 125 count humi, is buy sticks that I like right out of the box as my daily smokes, and I buy 3 of the "good stuff" at a time. 1 for smoking right away (can't help myself), and 1 for 6 months from now, 1 for a year from now. I've got a pretty good selection of good stuff going, and can keep 50 of my everydays ready to go.

I would buy half a box of the Cameroons, and half a box of the Cubans. You just can't go wrong. And if for some reason you dont like them , I will be happy to trade you something for them!!

Already did!!!

Sometimes Capt scares me, especially when he replies to his own post.

Personally I like the Cameroons the best so far. They're very nice smokes.
I thought the Cuban label was a bit lacking in complexity. It seemed a bit one dimensional. It was enjoyable, but not something I'd buy many of.
The purple was a bit light for my tastes. What can I say, I like my beer dark, my food spiced, my liquor neat, my wine red, and my sticks medium to full bodied.
I haven't tried the blue label yet, but I expect I'll find it a bit mild as well.
The c.com maduro (red label) I had was good, but I still like my overall favorite inexpensive smoke better- the similarly priced Flor de Oliva maduro.

My favorite "everyday" smokes so far are (in order) FdO Maduro, C.com Cameroon, and FdO 10th Anniversary.

I just realized I really should try one of these c.com Barber poles I've had sitting around for a month and a half.

I think I'll go get one...

I am wating to try my barber pole also i had one from the little cigar factory and it was excellent so hopefully this will hold up to that standard
