Sorry to dig up an old topic, but I was smoking an Oliva Master Blends (original) tonight and admired the band. The bands on the 2 & 3 are pretty awesome as well. Too bad the box art on the 3 is almost non existent. The box art on the original is just about frameable IMHO.
I like the Gurkha bands to, but my two particular favorites are the Perdomo lot 23, for its nice detail, and the Partagas black for a kind of subtle elegance.
The new Perdomo Habano band is quite detailed and looks great against the maduro wrapper. Can't wait to fire this bad boy up after it sit's for a few more weeks.
I also think the Gurkha bands (choose one) are the best.
But after being enticed by the Camacho Triple Maduro last night, I would have to add it into the mix of best bands as well. That silver band around that dark cigar just really looks sharp!
I think the gurka has a lot of nice looks, besides there is a guy on there with a big knif whick rocks. Here is a pic of something I was working on. Afew bands of cigars I have smoked for just over a year. This will be up in my man cave when I get it done.
Good eye, it is. Someone for my B-day got me C.com cigar of the month club and it was one of the few I got that month. It was good with a little nuttiness.
