I've smoked 3 Diplomas now and loved everyone of them with the natural wrapper. Just wondering what the maduro wrapper is like?? Which do you guys prefer?? :duh:

i liked the naturals, but ive been going through a change from maduro wrappers to naturals recently. could be the reason why.

the maduro in the diploma is very different. it has a lot less kick and body. If you like the rough aroma aspects of the natural you will dislike the maduro but if the natural was a little to much for you then the maduro might be your cup of tea.

If you want to try a great cigar as a lesser cost alternative. Try the camacho corojo monarca. Same size and same tobacco just not aged and the wrapper is a shade grown rather than a sungrown so the flavor is not quite as rich but it comes close.

I love the roughness of the natural wrapper - don't think I shall bother with the maduro now. Thanks for the advice

good choice but remember to try the monarca. it is a cheaper option than the diploma.

I definately believe the Natural is they way to go with this line....

Maduro is good, but I feel the Natural is just perfectly blended and balanced....
