While in my humidor should I leave the cigar tube cap on or take it off?

this is what i say every time this topic comes up.

i take the cap off when i first get the cigar. 2-3 weeks untill it gets to the RH i want it. then i put the cap back on.

Same here. I leave the caps off for a bit longer though. Maybe a month or two. Then I'll put them on forever until smoked. Could be days; could be years.

On. If it comes in a capped tube, it was meant to be stored in it.

I leave it on - especially for aging. Tubes are suppose to have long term aging potential - I'm talking years!
