its outdated, I have moved. Please don't send anything to it!
I always forget the small details like notifying people i have moved so now ya know.

Did you file a forwarding address card with the post office. The kit is really convenient and simple. One for the post office, and a bunch for the important folks.

Ahhhhhhhh, what the heck, just do like Vince does, and post it here.

You can also do the change of address (mail forwarding) online at USPS.com.

don't want my mail forwarded :D
I like being hard to reach

Sometimes that is better - the junk mail can't find you!!

Remember, "Bulk delivery" keeps lots of people working! Paper mills, ink makers, printers, bindery, companies that hire people to stuff envelopes, and of course, the postal sorting facilities, truck drivers, clerks, and letter carriers. In addition, trucking companies, fuel centers, and other assorted folks.

The benefit of "junk mail" is that it is not intrusive! You can deal with it at your discretion. Unlike telephone solicitors, who bother you at dinner time, junk mail just sits on the counter, table or wherever until you pick it up!

Besides, "junk mail" doesn't get forwarded. Only first and second class mail gets forwarded. Junk mailers may post address correction requested on any piece of mail. Doing so, the post office will provide them with the new address, for a fee. Most junk mailers don't wish to pay the fee, hence the mail doesn't follow you. However, creditors get mighty unhappy if their mail is not forwarded! And the consumer gets to pay the late fees, because it is our responsibility to update our address.

But the larger junk mailers (they like to call themselves direct marketers (DM)) subscribe to the USPS NCOA service. NCOA is National Change Of Address. The post office sends the information to the DM's and they apply the changes to their databases. So, if you notify the post office, they will notify the DMs.

Don't get me started on those little registration cards you get with everything. ;)
