How about a five cigar buy in,,,, makes it more interesting.

i'll have to ck with alex to see what he thinks is appropiate for this forum :D

draft date is aug.29 at 8:00 pm edt it will be a live draft so we can harass each other as we draft lol

Ugggh - I will be on vacation that week and won't be able to make a live draft.

if we get enough fast enough we can move it up. i want to make sure i steal your picks just ahead of you lol :D :D

Not to rain on your parade, but check the archives and you will see that you cannot have any publically stated wagers or buy in's and run it though the boards.

This issue came up last year when Bildo ran the Fantasy Football here on the Amback/Cigar.com boards. To have any kind of wager or buy in makes it a gambling venture and that would put Amback, Cigar.com, Fernando, Alex and anyone involved at risk of prosecution/legal liability.

BTW --- Let me know the details --- Not to brag, but I was the Amback/Cigar.com Fantasy Football Champion last year.

Thanks for the info, Mike.

And not to rain on your parade but check out the final standings from the league last year....

Sorry, man - but the trophy went to me.

I leave Friday morning - so I won't be able to pull off a live draft - Jeff - you can take me out of the league - no problem. Maybe we will do a live draft for baseball next year - that would be fun.

when will you be back as we can adjust the draft date. it is not set in stone. i wanna kick your butt in football unlike baseball lol :D :D :D

We come back on the 3rd of September - a much needed vacation to the Outer Banks.

Hah - if you notice - "Mr. I Don't Know Anything About Baseball" is kicking all of our butts!

Yahoo won't let your link be viewable.

The fantasy league the Bildo ran here last year on Cigar.com/Amback was won by Mike's Bengals (me) It was neck and neck throughout the season but was won in the final weeks.

I am not sure if I will be able to participate this year, especially with a live draft. Work/family committments are tough ones to overcome. I work M-F from 7am-4:30/7pm and by the time I get home, our 4 and 3 yr old have worn my wife out to the point I have to help out and usually don't get around a computer until 10pm-12am range.

Mike, mike, mike....

Although you have weapons and I only have golf clubs - I am going to have to disagree....the league was the blow holes. If you go to your Yahoo fantasy page there is a link for past leagues called "Fantasy Profile". It will confirm my championship.

I need something to hang my hat on around here!

Ok ---

Heck --- after the last week of the regular season it said I was #1 -- guess it changed somehow --- Of course I am satisfied that it still shows I finished ahead of one member here who tried to get me to trade with him because he thought my team "sucked" and would not bring in any consistant scores. (he wanted me to trade LT for a couple of jamokes!) Needless to say I nixed the trade!

I did not follow alot at the end of football season -- had some health issues and have not spent much time online in 2006. 2006 has seen 5 x-rays -- 2 CT Scans (yes, I think I glow) -- 3 surgeries -- and have been busier at work than ever. In prior 30 years I had missed but 3 days of work, but since Sept 19, 2005 I have missed more than a couple of weeks of it. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in the lungs and spleen. I am on Prednisone and even once in remission I will have to have a retinal scan every 6 months and either a x-ray or CT scan every 6 months (usually alternated) for the rest of my life (WOO HOO!)
