After being on here for so many years this is the first time I have seen this thread. I thought it would be worth bringing up again if only for the nostalgia factor.

I have never tried pinching my cigars, I guess the stick would have to have a triple cap or this probably would not work. Is any one else up to a little experimentation??

Reminds me of the cuban method of cutting cigars: same method but with your teeth.

My brother-in-law uses his teeth. I cringe every time he does it, but hey, it works for him.

When you have no punch or cutter, it's a viable alternative complete with much spitting and cigar morsels between the teeth. Beats not smoking tho.
